Hi, i just joined this community. I am an artist living in England and i am making a new project and i need artists/creative people to participate. Here is more info...

****summary: I LOVE MY CITY: urban identites.

We all have a personal identity with the city in which we live in or near too, weather its a favourite building, street or landmark, personal or unique experience, memory or event, or it's just that we have a love of where we grew up and each individual as their own social history with their home city.

To investigate this further I am calling for people to send me a personal visual representation of their home city in any medium through the post. This could include:
Photography
Text
Drawing
Poetry
Painting
Doodle
Found object
Collage
List of words
Weblink
.....anything goes, any medium.

Deadline: 31/12/06

Each item that is sent to me will appear in an exhibition in February 2007 in Salford, England. Each persons name and location will appear next to the sent work.

If you would like to take part in this project by sending me an item please e-mail artyrach@hotmail.com for my postal address.
If you would like to send an item that you think will cost a lot to send i can pay you back for the postage once the item has arrived.

We're (there's 4 of us now) currently working on part one of "Pebble Grading by Wave Action". It's keeping me very busy, but it looks like it's going to be worth it!

The soundtrack to part three is coming along very nicely too.

ok. finally. ive got my shit YES.

okay...starting off with jestures:

this was earlier on...the heads wayyy too small. ha.

still earlier on...but i like the foreshortening of the lower leg.

this was later...its a weird angle, but this is my favorite. ive really come to understanding jesture much much better. sometimes working on skills can be surprisingly fulfilling.

i made that the last day when i didnt have much else to do. its not one of my greatest works, but it was fun. its being considered as a gift for someone...

self portrait no. I ::: this was later in the session...like second half of week 2 i think. spent about 9 hours on it. i was pretty happy.

II ::: this was our last project. i spent about two days on it, but i put 16 hours of work into it. and i mean, without pacing, without strolling, just sitting and working. i like this one a lot. i dont know, mike really liked it, but people seem more interested in the other portrait. okay.

yea...and some pics with mr hello. aand the beautiful cloth peter gave me ^.^

i was shown mariní marino today. hes cool. reminds me of an italian edward gorey sculpter but really really awesomely cool...
