The site is definitely still active and open for submissions, so if you know of any Willow/Giles stories that aren't at the archive, either your own or someone else's, please let me know, or see that they are posted here, as this is the LJ companion to the website. |

| SunnyD Awards Reminder |

In case you're wondering why nominations haven't closed yet at the SunnyD Awards, it's because I had posted the wrong dates on the site. Nominations are supposed to go for two months, not one. The dates have been changed on the Rules & Dates page to reflect the correct time frame. Which means that nominations close on November 15th.
We have lots of categories that still need more nominations, so please, go fill them.

| I've got a theory... |

I'm no artist, but I was surfing various moodtheme comms in search of that one perfect theme (lolz), when it occured to me that there isn't a Willow/Giles one. There are plenty of Spike/Buffy & Angel/Buffy ones, & a ton of gen ones, and even a Whedonverse femmeslash one, but none of our favourite non-canon-y couple.
Soooo, I was thinking.... is there anyone with amazing artistic talent who would want to undertake the craziness of creating a W/G moodtheme? As much as I adore my W/T one, oh, what I wouldn't give for some lovely W/G!
Pimp this idea to whomever you think would do it, cos how awesome would that be? =D |

| Plot bunny free to good home |

I have a plot bunny for a Giles/Willow story, but I'm not sure I can write it.
So it's up for adoption.
Here's the idea:
- Instead of Willow bringing Buffy back in season six, Giles does it. He realized that unless Faith died, no new Slayer would be called. Instead of killing or freeing Faith, he resurrects Buffy.
- This causes Giles to fall back into his old habits from his Ripper days.
- Willow, who looks up to him as her mentor, realizes she needs to be the responsible one.
- Willow saves Giles from the dark magics and possibly saves the wold in the process.
Anyone want to try writing this?
