Look! It's a Question!
I remembered suddenly how much I enjoyed asking questions on this community. So, here's a new one!

What's your favorite Bible story? (And when I say story I mean story, like I want plot here, people. None of this favorite, most inspirational verse stuff.)

I think for plot lines, David's life story reigns supreme. I'm not always sure that it's my absolute favorite, but it certainly always kept me reading.

...but the story I think on most frequently is Job's.

I recently read the story of Samson in the book of Judges. I like how he slew a thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey.

I can't spell, let alone pronounce the names aside from Daniel, but I enjoy the stories of his "ministry," replete with lions' den and fiery furnace. I'm always intrigued by that fourth figure in the furnace...an Angel? Perhaps the Savior making an early appearance?

I like Jonah, seemingly a children's story which deepens i complexity with each telling.

I'm a big fan of the death of Bethsheba. Betrayed. Trampled by horses. Eaten by Dogs. What a way to go.
