Wes/Hamilton OOC

So...umm...

Maybe I forgot, but did we ever have an over-arching plot for this whole bad boy? Because Angel's feeling a bit lost as to what to do next... I'd love for him to get to spar more with Mr. Hamilton, but he's running out of things to make barbs out of or even discuss...

Okay, FG and I were thinking it would helpful if we started off fresh - let the abandoned threads sit with the assumption that whatever was going on in them wrapped up without anything too significant happening.

Which would leave Lindsey and Eve in their cell, Wes alone in his office, Harmony and Gunn upstairs, Hamilton looking to cause trouble elsewhere, and Angel wherever you want him, Chlare ;)

Does that sound right to everyone?

Wow! It looks like everyone's still on board! You guys are really awesome :) As FG pointed out to me the other night, it's been a YEAR that this rpg has been "on hiatus"!

So I'm sure jumping back into this thing is going to take a little stepping back and looking at where we were when we left off, and if we're still going in the same direction.

You can comment here with any questions about the story so far, discussions of where we might like to take it, etc.

You'll probably want to look back at previous threads, too, but here's my summary of the story as it is:

We started the rpg with Lindsey in lockdown at W&H. Angel took Lindsey out to discuss Hamilton and his possible weaknesses. There was much flirting, and a little boykissing (*the crowd cheers*), but no decision-making as to how Angel could deal with his Hamilton problem.

Meanwhile, Wes was being crazy in his office when - speak of the devil - Hamilton happened by. There was much confusion, an attack with a writing utensil, and a search for tea, but - sadly - no boykissing (*the crowd says, 'Awwww.'*) The search for tea led Wesley, panicked, into Angel's office. Hamilton followed him and Angel and Lindsey followed him. A brief and moderate pissing contest ensued (figuratively) and the onset was that Wesley had stormed off to his office and Hamilton had slunk away like the happily evil creature he is.

Lindsey and Angel decided Hamilton's curiousity over Wesley could be his weakness. There was more flirting. And sex! (One-sided, but the crowd isn't complaining. *the crowd nods their heads*) Lindsey was put back in his cell.

Hamilton went off and found Gunn, who was angsting in the holding dimension, and gave him an offer he could apparently refuse. Hamilton returned to Wolfram & Hart with a mysterious amulet and Gunn returned to getting his heart cut out of him. (*the crowd sniffles, 'Awww' again. More somberly.*)

Meanwhile, Eve had snuck into the detention area and helped Lindsey out of his cell. We found out that Eve's weaknesses are only increasing now that she's a human - she is mysteriously losing her memory and - she thinks - her mind. Lindsey and Even ran into Hamilton and there were threats and (surprise!) even more flirting! (Just a little. But I liked it ;)

During this time, Angel and Wes had been in Wes's office... I don't think I need to summarize this bit. I'm certain we all remember it ~~with much happiness and perhaps a cigarette~~ ;p The point: Angel asked Wesley to "distract" Hamilton. And Wesley came out of the thread a little more sane. (*the crowd snickers like a bunch of little children at the word came. Yes, my imaginary crowd is composed of twelve-year-old girls.*)

In the last threads, Hamilton was irritating Wesley (and - at last - Hamilton/Wesley boykissing!). Eve and Lindsey were interrupted in their angsting by a visit from Harmony and Gunn (Free! *the crowd cheers once more*)

And... umm...

That's it.

The Book Review it ain't, but hopefully it'll do :p

[ “What? I was just improvising.” Angel attempts a cute innocent look. “No, no, Marcus, he likes it harder.” ]

[ “I do not!” ]

[ *Angel smirks at Wesley knowingly* ]

[ *Lindsey sneaks a cuffed hand in Angel’s* ]

[ “Hey, stop flirting like that right in front of me!” Lindsey whines. ]

[ “Oh, you mean more like this, Angel?” Wesley moans. “Thanks, we should really help each other more often. You free after this?” ]

*shakes head* Let’s try this one more time...

[ “Hey, this elevator’s kind of hot...” ]

[“But you don’t... Oh. You wanna...” ]

[ “Definitely.” Angel rips Lindsey’s shirt, and slams him hard against the wall. ]

Angel! Lindsey, don’t even think about it!

[ Lindsey snatches his hands away from Angel’s shirt buttons. ]

Can’t you two behave?

[ “Not my fault the jailbait can’t keep his hands off me. ]

[ Lindsey glares. Angel smirks. ]

~ ~ ~

“What do you want me to do, Angel?”

[ “Bend over the desk this time, Wes.” ]

Angel?

[ What? ]

*glares menacingly*

[ “But he’s got such a great ass! You really want me to let Hamilton have that?” ]

Umm...*eyes glaze over* Nah... I mean, stop that!

[ Angel smirks. ]

"And what the hell are you doing in my office while I'm not in it? You said you weren’t going to start without me this ti-"

Angel!!!

[ “Sorry. He lost the bet. He’s got to share Wes this week.” ]

[ Wes moans. ]

[Both Angel and Hamilton smirk. ]

[ Hamilton blinks, innocently. “Well, it’s true.” ]

Hamilton.

[ “What?” ]

Let Wesley go.

[ Hamilton removes his hands from Wesley’s waist. Wesley chuckles. ]

“Terribly sorry about that. Let me clean that up for you.”

Cut!

[ “I was supposed to touch him that time,” Hamilton says. ]

[ “I believe you’re supposed to grab my wrist, actually,” Wesley replies. ]

[ “Oh. Oops. Sorry.” ]

[ “It’s quite alright.” ]

“And do you know where you’ll go to do that?”

[ Wesley shivers and leans into Hamilton. He turns his face toward Ha- ]

Cut. Wesley. Don’t encourage him.

“I’m the guy you want. And you might be surprised what I can manage, Hamilton.”

[ Hamilton steps closer. ]

“I’m not easily surprised, Mr. MacDonald.”

Cut. Just cut.

[ “I didn’t touch him!” ]

[ Lindsey snickers. ]

[ Hamilton raises a brow. “As if it didn’t take fifty-three takes to get you and Angel out of that elevator with your clothes on.” ]

[ Lindsey frowns. “They couldn’t get the lighting just right.” ]

[ “I…think you were supposed to sit on the edge of the desk,” Wesley informs Hamilton. “Not my lap.” ]

[ “Oh. I suppose I should get up then.” ]

[ “You are rather heavy.” ]

[ Hamilton leans in towards Wesley, as well. He raises a hand and brushes his fingertips along Wesley’s jaw. ]

From off camera there comes the sound of papers being tossed aside and Nevcolleil banging her head on her desk.

[ Hamilton pulls his hand back and smiles apologetically. “I’m doing it again, aren’t I?” ]

Just checking back in on where we're going with our thread :) How much resistance do you think Hamilton should have to Lindsey and Eve's trying to get away? What reason would he have to let them go? Or what might happen so that they could get away from him?

Not to barge onto a thread where Hamilton hasn't been invited, or anything... But I was just wondering... You two are headed for the parking garage, aren't you? And Hamilton's getting back to the building from having visited Gunn... :P Would a run-in with Hamilton set back whatever plot development you have planned next? If so, that's fine. But if not...

So, umm, I don't know if this decision should be up to me, so I thought I'd ask, since I'm thinking it will effect the direction of the game slightly. :)

Should Angel keep Wes in the dark about his little scheme, and drive Wes away by lying to him, and thus drive him straight into Hamilton's arms, or does Angel tell Wes and let Wes become infatuated with Hamilton on his own, torn between the enemy and Angel, much like Lindsey and Angel.... I have vague notions of telling Wes so there's more angst *and* more sex (Big Damn Orgy, remember...) rather than more anger and more angst and less Wangel. Okay, you've found me out, witness my Wes/Angel shipping bias... :D Threw you for a loop, didn't I? :)

So, the thread started by Hamilton in Angel's office is officially closed, Lindsey's back in his cell, and there really should be a prize for the first character to bring the NC-17... *ponders*

Nora's back tomorrow, and we'll take off with the Lindsey/Eve thread then. :)

Nev and I were discussing what should happen next here. I know everyone's waiting on Angel, and Eve is waiting on Lindsey, so we're getting a little stagnant right now. So, should Hamilton go talk to Wes again, before Angel gets to him, or should there be more waiting? Maybe we could pull Harmony in for a little randomness... Just thought I'd see if anyone had ideas or if people were okay waiting. I don't think Lindsey and Angel should be too much longer, but I'm not sure... Angel should really go see Wes next, I think. Okay, that's all I've got right now. :)

This may be entirely unnecessary, but I just wanted to check with people and see what they thought about what's happenin' in the A/L thread right now. Lindsey is suggesting to Angel that Wes be bait for Hamilton to keep him distracted...so there is the possibility of Angel making that suggestion to Wes. Does that work for Hamilton and Wes? I figure it makes sense...and kind of gets the ball rolling for you two.

On the show, Hamilton took a little trip down to the Wrath's and offered Gunn a way out, didn't he? When Hamilton leaves Angel's office from the thread he's currently in...should I have him head that way? :) It would put our Gunn into action. And I'm sure seeing Lindsey out and about is getting the gears turning in Hamilton's head.

Just wanted to call attention to josscars_weekly and the winners for the week.
Yes, I know that both my Harm and my Eve won. Yippie. But that's not what I'm pointing at. lol.

My Eve won with the post that was for this game. I wanted to thank for the oppertunity to play her in here and with the ability to be a bit more free with her. I have never taken her down this road and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I just wanted to mention how lovely it is posting with you guys. :) Nev your latest post cracked me up, *and* made my inner Angel squirm at the same time. :D And FG I have no idea how you keep Wes so crazy, but the cryptic mumblings are great. :) And Megan you know how much I *adore* your posts! Again, I defer to the more experienced players here, but now that we have a thread with more than 2 players, it would be helpful to write (Tag character X) at the bottom of your tag, to eliminate confusion as to who shall play next. :)

Also, since only the player who started the thread and the player whose tag is being directly replied to will be notified of your tag, it may be pertinent to toss someone a quick "Tag, you're it" type e-mail if they're to reply to your tag.

I finally figured out how to put banners on ljs! :P So my character journal has a nice, sorta new look... I thought it would be cool to have a banner on the RPG journal, too. I'm going to be playing with pics and seeing what I can come up with, but if anyone else wants to take a shot at it that would be awesome :D If we end up with several we could post them here and have everyone vote for which banner they'd like to see used. What do you all think?
