Free Pocket Angel Pattern for Charity and Gifts of Love
Knit and Crochet versions of my wee Pocket Angel for charity and gifts of love.  I'm making the free patterns available in honor of the charity ami-along:

pocket angels small

This is a wee pocket sized angel that I have made for many charity gifts, and gifts for friends and family going through challenging times.  With this month's ami-along including charity gifts, I thought I'd dust off the very simple patterns and share them here, for anyone who might like to make them.  I designed them with small children in mind, so they will fit nicely in a small hand, but adults seem to like them a lot too  It's easy to tuck them into a pocket or purse to take along for surgeries or tests or treatments.

Pocket angel medium

As you can see, the knitted version of the wings is heart shaped, and it's knit in one piece.

The pattern will be on our download site by tomorrow:
 http://esunbeams.com/knittycat/knittycat_index.htm

I also have patterns for a preemie sweater (can be adapted for full term), knitted all in one piece, and booties, also all in one piece (with garter stitch soles).  If anyone is interested in these, please let me know, and I will neaten them up as well, and post them to our download site.

UPDATE - It's up now, and the direct link to the pdf is

THANK YOU FOR THE Pocket Angel Pattern.IT IS SO GREAT
I have a son in law that is in Iraq and the grand kids and I our getting ready to made his christmas gifts again this year, we always make his gift's. I feel that if you take the time to make the gift, the more love you put into it. And we also have a great time doing it.
We also do our christmas tree like this. Last year was the 1st year we did a military theme. We all had to make something with uncle Tony's or daddy's photo or (etc.) to put on the tree, the gr kids had great ideas and went NUTS!!
It was just like he was with us.
