[Deep in the Mysterious Forest of Mystery, a woman has appeared. Though, is she really a woman? She's certainly wearing a wedding dress, but for some reason it's been torn in some places. A veil obscuring her face, she seems almost unnaturally thin. This applies especially to her left arm. As she walks forward, her veil flutters in a non-existant breeze.

[We once again find ourselves in Alternate Land. It's been a few months since the wedding, but our happy couple is still as happy as ever. They've taken up residence in Yuan's Flanoir base and have been living there for a while now.

At the moment, Kratos is entering the bathroom. He's had a nice workout in the field and needs a shower. There was no sign of Yuan upon his return, but he's not too worried. The ex-Renegade will show himself soon enough. In the meantime, a certain someone is sweaty and looking forward to cleaning himself up.

It had been a joyous day for Kratos and Yuan Aurion. After over four-thousand years of friendship and five more years of being in a steady relationship, the two were finally joined in holy matrimony.

Kratos, still dressed in his formal black tux with matching purple tie, dropped himself onto the bed to take off his shoes. As he did, his gaze fell upon the slim silver ring around his finger. Who would've thought he'd end up exchanging the vows of wedding with Yuan? Speaking of which...

Ruby eyes surveyed the large hotelroom, hoping to catch a glance of his lover.]

[The power is back on, so Sheik, a bit tired from opening doors, has decided to take a break from his usual training. He's now in the central plaza quietly playing his lyre. It's a nice little melody, reminiscent of a starry moonlit night.]

[finally, the lights flicker back on and the whirring of various machinery is heard throughout the city]

This is insane! A power shortage in a city that depends on technology!

It took me fifteen minutes to make my way through the dark library and find the door. My wings knocked several things over, but I have no clue what they were. I'll just have to find out when the lights come back on. And the door- ngh. ... Won't open. I'm stuck in here until the power's fixed.

Ah! What if it takes several days? I'll starve! Uhm... A little help?

*screams like a girl and says in a high-pitched voice* I don't like this place! *coughs and brings voice down to normal pitch* What just happened? Why is it completely dark all of a sudden?

After arriving in this strange place, I felt much like a fish out of water. The shock of the surroundings was eased by the presence of one Ms. Peach, who kindly greeted me and graciously offered me employment at her shop. And so now here I am, standing stark before the shop, thrown into this world of wonder and technologies I ne'er dreamed of, and yet now must live (whether I choose to or not). 

It's an unnerving thought to know that humans- Aselians were slaughtered. Though from an alternate dimension, I am still one of them. Or, rather, I was, until I received these wings.

Were they really as bloodthirsty as most soldiers claim?

Well, my first battle in the Cruxis Army has ended. I specialize in defense, so my injuries were minor, but fighting for an entire day without rest was… difficult.

It was different than anything I’ve done before. In my world, there has not been war for a long time. Humans are almost all united under Granadis rule, though there are some problems with marauders and pirates, and the elves and the spirits avoid humans for the most part. Truly, we were blessed by the Six Dragons with a long era of peace and prosperity…

The humans of Aselia truly hate the angels, and they fight viciously. I wonder what the cause is. Surely, it’s not something that’s fated or anything they are all born with. There must be a reason.

I wonder where this war is going, after so long, and where it’ll end. I… don’t want to spend the rest of my life fighting like this. I hope, maybe there’s another way. I need to find out more about this war.
