A little creepy sure, but there are plenty of examples of Christian missionaries that warrant the disgusting label without a well meaning site of teenage missionaries to get stuck with it.

Unless of course, we all take a reversal on the "good intentions" clause that seems to come up whenever I criticizing chabadniks, seminaries and Aish HaTorah.

I went to a chabad elementary school with a Jenna.
While I haven't heard from her in well over a decade, I know her sister frummed out in a big way.

yup, that's a disgusting site. I love the way they suggest asking Jenna why she doesn't make sacrifices today. So it is an evangelical site to convert teens???? That's disgusting!

I'm disappointed that Harry the Hindu and Mo the Muslim's religions affect "every part of his life including how he spends his time, what he eats, and even the types of friends he chooses" but that's apparently not true of Jenna the Jew. :( No wonder she buys their nonsense misquotes and Roman propaganda.

Your main goal is not to persuade Jenna that Jesus is the Messiah - it is a means to an end, and that end is that she needs to see that she fails to keep God's Law. It is not good enough for her to do her best; God requires perfection, so you need to get Jenna to the point where she knows that God will not overlook her failures or forgive her on the basis of their mitzvot (good deeds). Show her that God requires the shedding of blood for the forgiveness of sin (Leviticus 17:11; cf. 16:15-17, 27, 30), which was why the Messiah (Jesus) came to earth 2000 years ago.

Jenna, how do you feel about being a FAILURE AT LIFE?!?!?!

I know one. She used to be Jennifer but then she got quite weird with drugs and vague New-Age bullshit and changed it to Jenna. Quite a sad situation. We were good friends. But such is life.

Anyway: what the hell is that group? Jesus. I know the First Amendment protects all manner of free speech and religion, but groups like that always creep me out.

I know quite a few Jews who would dissagree with that statement.

Jenna has been raised with little knowledge about Jesus Christ,

and it would seem not a whole lot of knowledge about Judaism either.

You know, the whole element of "we're right, everyone else is wrong and damned to h-e-double-hockey-stick" was a HUGE reason I never felt quite right with being Christian (Catholic if anyone cares and wants me to be specific) when I was younger. And the arrogance and xenophobia embedded in it, combined with so many doubts and questions and disgust and frustration are what sent me packing right after I could get out of my mom's house and done with Catholic schooling (from the time I was four on up to 17) and off to a Quaker college... where at least with their kind of Quaker they make it a point to NOT cram stuff down everyone else's throat and act so freakin' arrogant and just... *screams* They actually let me have the space I needed to at least start figuring out what I really believed at my own pace and respected it no matter what it was.

Anyway, this site is just screaming "cult" at me. Or... no, better yet... BORG. *shivers* I would so LOVE to throw THIS
at them. Sure, go ahead and study it for a while, kid. I'd looooove to hear your feedback ;) (Hey, when my mom started bugging me about why I didn't believe in Jesus anymore when I told her I was converting, that stuff did the job... She hasn't asked since ;) )
