30th-Apr-2008 08:35 pm - Hey
I just wanted to say hi because I'm new to the group! I've pretty much read every fanfic posted on here, does anyone have anymore sites they could recommend to me for some good reading? I love the idea of Weir and Caldwell together!
9th-Mar-2008 07:47 pm - o hai!

I am not a huge Weir/Caldwell shipper, tbqh, but I like them okay and I ended up making a manip for an RPG which somehow turned into also a header and an icon! omg. So I thought I'd offer it up to y'all.

Cut for worksafe images. )

I just realized I have not posted a link here in a while to my ongoing The Origin of All Things, which includes Weir/Caldwell as a pairing.

Please note--This fic includes a number of pairings, both ship and slash. If you object to slash, please do not read.

Series Title: The Origin of All Things

Category: Ship and slash. Atlantis/SG1 crossover.
Rating: NC-17 for the series. Ratings vary for individual parts.

Summary: Something goes wrong during the evacuation of Atlantis, stranding members of the Atlantis expedition and SG1 on a very strange world.

14th-Jan-2007 08:40 pm - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Weir/Caldwell I
Given that new spoilers have proven to me that TPTB are going to completely destroy SGA in Season Four, I figure it's time to announce my sekrit SGA project:

[info]pookaseraph and I have been planning a SGA Virtual Season Four since before Christmas.

We're now in the stage of consolidating our ideas and we're smart enough to know that we'll need help -- serious help! We need writers and editors and graphic-making people and anyone who wants to help in any way they can!

If you're interested in helping, contact me at regannfoxx@yahoo.com or on IM at bright pandeia.

If you're not interested in helping but will be interested in reading, also drop me a line!

And, please -- pass the word around! The bigger and better our team, the better this virtual season will be. And it's obviously that we'll need it in the face of what they have planned for the SGA world coming up.
19th-Sep-2006 12:20 pm - The Idiots Guide to Stargate Travel
Last of the Princes
Hey, been a while, heh. Somethings wrong with my LJ cut so I'm posting the links to my stories instead.

Title: The Idiots Guide to Stargate Travel

Chapter 1: The Stargate Itself
Rating: PG
Pairings: Anything you can imagin
Summary: *grin*

1. The Stargate is the round donut shaped thing with the weird symbols on it.

Chapter 2: The Aliens; Allies and Enemies and the Goddamn Tok'ra who drive everybody nuts.
Rating: PG
Pairings: Anything you can imagin
Summary: *smirk*

1. Calling the Tok'ra or the Goa'uld snake heads is the best way to annoy them into going away, just make sure you suck up enough to get the info first o if it's the Goa'uld make sure that your far enough away that you can run and they won't catch you (the shortest distance is three galaxies, but we recommend four just incase they've got some new weapon the Tok'ra have conveiently forgotten to mention, see number 2)

Enjoy! And let me know what you think! Suggestions are welcome!

20th-Aug-2006 01:50 am - Discussion: Ages?
Sun & Moon [Trance/Ione]
Let's try a little discussion, shall we? ;)

Although their ages have never been stated on the show, if we go by their actors' ages as indicative of the characters', Weir and Caldwell have a significant age difference between them -- roughly fourteen or so years.

(TH was born in 1966; MP was born in 1952. As an aside, MP's real-life wife Arlene was born in 1966, too.)

Does the age difference matter? Do you, as a reader/writer/fan/hater of this pairing, think it matters? Especially in a sci-fi series? What sort of issues might it bring up if there was a relationship there? Would either of the characters have a problem with an age difference?

Other thoughts, opinions, questions, concerns are welcome!
