whoa ES21 is so high up!!

tenipuri is ending at the end of the year? that makes more sense, rather than the end of november, was it?

Oh good, they're giving Konomi-sensei a decent ending time. It makes me feel better about it ending :D

After last week, I can't wait for this week's ES21! Makes me happy they're getting the cover cause the chapter's going to be big!
-Surprise of the Week: I am wondering after recent revelations regarding rankings...why the heck do Mx0 and To-LOVE-Ru keep rotating at the top of the magazine? I've heard great things about Mx0 but its like its always either at the very top or the very bottom...hopefully its really proving itself. Great week BTW for P2 and Neuro as well.
-Dissapointment of the week: Well we may already have an end point for both Yushagaku and Belmonde...but at this rate Sket Dance may leave before both of them!
-And so the countdown begins: 11 issues before Ryoma Echizen hangs his racket forever! Was never a PoT fan but I do sympathize to those losing the series.
-Next week: one word: vampires. A vampire one shot and Rosario + Vampire's first appearance in the magazine as Jump Square prepares to launch. Oh, and Gintama...well they don't have vampires but they could.

I am not a fan of it either, but I sympathise along with you when it really goes. <: ) It's an anime I've grown up with, and it's played a part in my life as a young teen. ^^ Oh well~

well, Mx0 is actually good, I like the art and the story well... it's not an a real 'waaaaooo coooool', but it's pretty good! 8D

Mx0 has had buzz lately as a nice little series and I do want to see it come out in the US. (that and the Mandrake girl is adorable :p) Maybe it could just grow from here and hopefully get an anime in '08 but we'll see.

Personally I say both series are deserving and it all depends on various factors. To-LOVE has the support now but Mx0 can still gain it later

Absolutely! Muhyo definitely deserves an anime. I'm rather surprised that there
still hasn't been an anime announced.

THREE CHEERS FOR EYESHIELD!! Oh, I love Murata's art so much!!

I wonder if I should be pretty sad that D.Gray's going to be absent again for two more weeks : \ I don't follow it, but I would really be sad to see it slide...I'm quite the sentimental person. I kind of like Lavi, too.

I wish the Katsura Hoshino would give us insights on what happened to the characters...I really wonder if Kanda/ Crowley/ everyone else are still alive >_>"

I'm a little surprised at the rankings, I guess. ; \ Reborn and Gintama are among my favourite, and things have been going good...hmm. Oh, well, I'm excited about the Gintama cover, in any case. Three cheers for that too~

Gintama's actually been doing rather well as of late, and a lot of people say that whenever they have a good story arc it ranks much higher than it usually does.

D.Gray has been a real strange bird in the magazine for a while now: its here some weeks, gone some others. Some story lines sounds like Hoshino may be nearing the climax, but its still her story and she can go with it in whatever direction she wants to.

So, 12 more chapters for PoT? That makes a little more sense, but I'm still not sure how Konomi is going to manage to fit all that he has left into those 12 chapters, especially with the speed he's been taking the matches, and all the plot points he's actually just introduced, like Ryoma having amnesia. But I have faith in him, so if this really is the end, I'm sure that he'll go out on top.

It's strange. I started following Prince of Tennis just about 2 and a half years ago, but the series feels like such a big part of my geek life, now.

I'll be sad to see it end.

How a series ends depends regarding both the author and where the series is. After recently witnessing Bo-bobo get an unceremonious and speedy finale (though the final chapter was perfect...even if it felt like a pt. 1 ending), somehow Prince of Tennis seems like its' getting plenty of time to tie up loose ends particularly with the final match of the tournament. If Konomi can pace it right, he could get a good enough ending...but who knows if it will be sufficient.

Hurray, Mx0 is high up again! With the info from the last post, maybe this means this week's chapter will be dramatic? Last week's chapter ended on a cliffhanger after all..

I'm surprised to see so many series ending soon though... PoT fans must be really shocked.

It's great to see Mx0, Muhyo, P2, Gintama and Neuro doing so well this week but it's not so great that Usagi is low again this week. I really want usagi to survive and sket dance is low and that looks like that could next on the chopping block.

Sket dance didn't really have too much substance to it anyway. It was just another slice of life manga. I hope we see something better soon.

I think you're confused to the meaning of "slice of life". I don't think anything that has happened yet in Sket Dance is likely to happen in real life.

It's not that low though, it's just under the top five (or maybe in it, I don't know if the center color counts in the ranks or not like the cover). Either way, Bleach is really picking up again so more power to it!

Its a color page. For this week let Usagi be. But if its the same the next few...then you have a right to worry.

I never saw or followed PoT, but my sympathy goes to those who love it and will see the end (even though, isn't it good that a manga ends because it must ends, not because of lack of popularity?).

I feel so sad that PoT will end very soon ;_; It's my favourite Weekly Shounen Jump series and I'm quite shocked @_@
I hope that there is still the possibility of 2nd Part/Sequel which takes place some years later when they are all in high school (even though they look like that already). D;
