Wine Cork Place Card Holders
I can't find the post now...but I read just after I was thinking "Gosh, I should check on ebay to see if anyone's selling place card holders for cheap..."

This is what I found:

I'm so excited about this idea! We're going to a wine party tonight--the second one this month. Guess what I'll be collecting for the next forever of 8 months. Where am I ever going to get 360 wine corks? *LOL*

You can buy corks at craft stores or wine stores. Especially the do-it-yourself wine stores.

you've probably thought of this... but have you tried finding a cork seller? like for bottling homebrew and things, that way the corks would be nice and clean and not have a corkscrew hole through the middle, i'm sure you can but them in bulk cheaply...

ok, a bit bored so had a quick look
http://www.thehomebrewstore.com/htmlcatalog/wine-corks.htm $15 for 100 corks
http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/item1788.htm £5 for 100 corks

I would go to bars and or restaurants and ask them for theirs...I bet they would give them to you for free.

You can also buy them cheap online or at craft stores.

Here is a website I found:
http://www.corkstore.com/compass/servlet/WBServlet?webfunctionid=web.login&action=login&functionid=login

under closures and stoppers in the wine cork section on the 2nd page, you can buy recycled corks for .03 cents...that's $10.50 for 360 corks :)

Most likely they just throw the corks out into the trash.

exactly if you ask if they can put them into a seperate bag I'm sure they'd do it.

This is such a good idea. :) Is it okay if I put that in my list of ideas and possibly "steal" it? :)

That's just fine. ...I'm not worried about my ideas being "stolen". Besides, I got it from an ebay seller.
