Holy Crap...22 days away!
Things are really getting down to the wire. Yesterday we went and got our marriage lisence, and today we went and ordered the personalized matches and napkins for the guest favors, along with the guestbook and pen and we paid off the venue! We also ordered all the wedding parties gifts and things for the tables and the reception.

By the way, most of these pictures were taken with my camera phone because I'm broke so pictures are a little shitty!

We got the dresses at Brides By Demetrios. We saw the style and loved it but the colors sucked so we changed the colors and they look so great :]

Wait a friggin' minute- tell me that cake service isn't from JoAnn's in Ballard? Cuz it looks an awful lot like one of the sets we used...

I love your dress! Did costco arrange the flowers or do you buy in bulk and assemble yourself?

Me? I bought around $120 worth of mixed arrangements (w/ greens)and with the help of 3 others made over 100 wee centerpieces, numerous corsages & boutonnieres, 2 nice-sized bouquets the afternoon before.

The floral department gal was extremely helpful- I'd conferred w/ her earlier re. product, price & availability. When I went in that AM, there were several other Brides picking up who had ordered specific flowers/colors, but I just used what was in season at the store.

Don't quote me, but I think if you're looking for pre-made stuff, cosctco.com can provide that for a song. We're big Costco fans and they contributed many things to our wedding; I was happy with the flowers and tho' I could have gone down to Pike Place Market for bigger and a little cheaper, having to fight the holiday crowds wasn't worth it.

Yeah, our food and other stuff is from costco as well, we love us some costco. We are making a costco run Monday for drinks and nonparrishable stuff for the wedding.

I was actually leaning toward that exact dress. At least I think its the exact one, did you get it at david's bridal? I know I want something like that but with blue/brown instead of red :)

No, I hate DB. The dress is a Birdes By Demetirous collection and I highly doubt you saw the EXACT dress because the back was customely made for me, I designed it.

So if you saw the EXACT one there, they owe me money, haha.

I think I was getting it confused with two seperate dressses I saw on DB

http://davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2790&prodgroup=10
That one and

http://davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2973&prodgroup=10
that one.

Its been a while since I had looked at the site, so I guess thats why I was confused.

No prob, I remember when I first started my dress search, I actually wanted the second one you posted. So when I went into the Demetrios store, I like the one I had, but I wanted the split, so they let me design what I wanted with the dress. I added the split in the back and the extra embrordering and extra fabric to put on the two sides of the split.

Turned out wonderfully :D
