OMG CAR SQUEEE!!
I just really wanted to share my excitement about this:

Just got the coolest email from FH's dad. It seems a friend of his can get an old '53 Buick for us to ride from the church to the reception. I was really really hoping we could find something like this, since Cleveland, TN has a classic car show once a month (I think) and I figured someone would let us rent for cheap for a 20 min ride (and some great photo ops beforehand as well!!!!).

hehe...I <3 classic cars. I grew up going to car shows with my dad. He's recently been looking at a '51 Pontiac that's already pretty much completely restored. It's gorgeous, and I've been secretly hoping he decides to buy it because I'm absolutely in love with '50s cars.

That one is amazingly gorgeous.

I always had a thing for the '57 Chevy myself, and yeah, my dad is the one who taught me all about classic cars when I was a kid. I've always wanted one myself, but never had the extra income or been able to just have a car for more than purely practical purposes. *sigh* But hey, what a perfect excuse to ride around in one, no? :)

So much yay! Seriously, I highly recommend looking around for classic car shows in the area or just letting people know you're looking for one. So much cheaper than renting a limo or anything. :)

I love it! And I love your FILs and your relationship with them. How you email each other and all that (I remember your FMIL being worried that you were going to have people slinging those wedding slingers all throghout the ceremony-so cute!) Can I use your FILs instead of mine? Hehe!

Aw, thanks, I love my FILs. They've just been the sweetest to me. I already feel like I'm family. :) When I went to visit right after Christmas, they had a stocking hanging with my name on it! I think I started bawling when I saw it.
