I don't have time to get this community off the ground right now. But I will soon. In the meantime, should anyone run across this at random, feel free to join and post.

This is a community about website designs. Not help with code, not help with Photoshop, but feedback and critique of the designs themselves.
Making a really good website design is not all that easy - you have to get the right balance between 'swooshy-looking' and 'useable', between 'boooring' and 'eyehurty', and hell, sometimes you can hit a mental block just like with anything else. A second opinion can really help.
Designers and random LJers are both welcome!

When making a website, people generally sketch their ideas in a graphics program such as Photoshop or the Gimp. At this point, making changes is easy and relatively painless, and so feedback is extra useful. If the navigation is illegible or the background overly distracting, better to find out before you spend hours accurately slicing the image and writing the code.
webdesigns is a place to post your stuff and get feedback from both experienced designers and randomers.
Thanks all :)

Please do post:
- Sketches you are undecided between
- A draft image of a website
- A design that's already coded but you aren't happy with
- IF we have seen some drafts, feel free to post the finished 'no more changes, thank $deity' product
- A brief introduction - at least while this place remains
emptysnug and cosy, it'd be nice to get to know people somewhat.
Do NOT post:
- Finished work that you want to show off, ie that you don't intend to make any further changes to. This is a community for feedback and critique. Unless we've seen the drafts, we don't care.
- Your problems with HTML, CSS, or your graphics program. Yes, we all need help with those, but this is not the place. Lots of comms/forums are devoted to these things, but I suggest you start with Google.
- Anything offtopic or NSFW
- ...in l337, aol-speak, or preferably even 'I can't reach as far as the shift key'-speak.
Thanks all :)
