weasley_fest, a gift exchange fest designed to celebrate our love of the Weasley family throughout the month of July! Our goal is to encourage the creation of fan fiction and fan art that focuses on all of the individuals who make up the whole of this wonderful Wizarding family.
Details:
Sign-ups will run from Sunday, February 1st- Friday, February 20th
Assignments will be mailed out no later than Sunday, March 1st.
Assignments will be due by June 13th.
Submissions will be posted throughout the month of July.
Rules:
1. All fics and artwork must be centered on at least one member of the Weasley family.
2. Het, Slash, Femslash, and Gen fics and artwork are all acceptable and welcome provided that they are in accordance with rule number one.
3. Threesomes and Moresomes are all acceptable as long as at least one Weasley family member is the focus of the piece.
4. All Ratings are permitted.
5. Any characters depicted in a sexual situation in fic or art must be 16 years of age or older.
6. If reading/viewing any fic or art with an adult rating, then you must be of legal age to do so.
7. Character bashing is NOT permitted. You can portray characters in a negative light, but outright bashing of ANY character is not acceptable.
8. If you request a gift then you will be expected to give a gift in return.
9. All fiction should be at least 1,000 words in length. There is no word maximum.
10. All fiction should be spell-checked/ beta-read.
11. Please include the required html coding in your document when submitting your piece.
12. All fiction and artwork for this exchange should be mailed to the moderator at weasley_fest@yahoo.com
13. The moderator reserves the right to refuse any work that does not abide by the rules of this community, does not meet the standards of quality, and/or fails to meet with the request of the recipient.
14. All fiction and artwork will be posted anonymously and the authors/artists will be revealed after all pieces have been posted.
15. All fiction and artwork must be newly created for the fest For anonyominty purposes submissions should be able to stand alone and not obviously stated to be a part of any already existing and therefore recognisable fanfiction or fanart series/universe.
16. All fiction and artwork submitted for this exchange may not be posted anywhere else until after the reveal has been posted by the moderator.
17. In the event that you sign-up for the exchange and you find yourself unable to complete your assignment for any reason, please contact the moderator at weasley_fest@yahoo.com as soon as possible. We understand that things happen, that life gets in the way sometimes. If that should happen please just let me know so that your gift may be reassigned.
