St. Louis
As I type this, we are driving to Chicago, IL from St. Louis, MO. Our acoustic show went well despite the tiny crowd. I think that we learned the best way to present ourselves in a new city is not acoustic. Though our acoustic shows are freaking awesome, I think we should show new people electric Parade first. We did sell a cd, and the people that worked at The Red Sea were very friendly and helpful. We finished playing in time to head downstairs and see some of Happy Birthday Amy’s set, which made me happy.

After the show, we hung out upstairs and Jason lit a tampon on fire.

Amanda Shae is the hostess with the mostest. We drove about an hour and a half away from St. Louis to her home town to spend the night. It was a very cozy midwestern home with 3 BATHROOMS. This was such a luxury considering that we’re used to all sharing 1 bathroom wherever we go. After an awesome night’s sleep, we awoke to the smell of a home cooked breakfast. Amanda got us fresh bagels, donuts, and she made bacon and eggs and French pressed coffee. Such a sweet heart.
Cows are cute. There are a lot of them in the midwest... There is also a lot of corn. It’s kind of neat that you can see for miles and miles ahead of you while you’re driving.
Before the show, Scott took a picture of Carrence looking like a Nun.

Here are some shots from the acoustic set.

Before we left Amanda’s house, we took a HBA/Parade family photo in front of Amanda’s house.
