Yo screaming fans. We are having tons of fun so far on tour. My iphoto is being weird, so I will try to deal with that later and post a bunch of pictures and tell stories about those pictures.

We had a great time at The Basement in Nashville, TN with our favorite peeps Happy Birthday Amy. Umbrella Tree kicked some serious ass too. It was just like being on tour again *tear*. Speaking of tour!! We're going on another one starting next week.

We're playing with Down With The Woo at The 40 Watt in Athens, GA on Thursday. We will have a special guest (Ahem, Brian Risse) playing trumpet on a few songs. This is gonna be fun. Come and see it.

Hey! We're playing a show this Saturday (St. Patrick's Day!) in Savannah, where they dye the river green, at Guitar Bar. It will be fun. If you're going to be there, you should attend. If you're not going to be there, you should be there.

Last night and this morning were full of tears. DC (well, technically Arlington, VA) was our last stop on the tour, and the show was just Happy Birthday Amy and us. We played at this really great restaurant/bar called Galaxy Hut. Before that, we met up with Emily’s cousin, Collin and her fiance Amir for dinner. It’s been so nice to be able to see people that we love and don’t see very often.

This morning we said goodbye to Sandra and Nick, and now we’re on the road to Washington DC (aka, Arlington, VA) to play a show. Man. Boston likes to give us free shit. We went to this coffee shop Thursday, and they gave us this huge bag of free bagels. I ordered a biscotti, and the dude was like, “do you guys want some free bagels? I have a ton.” Uhhhh... YES. Then, when I paid for my biscotti, I noticed there were 2 in my bag, so he gave me a free biscotti. And, Emily wasn’t charged for her coffee. Maybe they sensed that we were broke, or something. Anyway, that was cool.

Yesterday was our off day, so we all spent the day in Boston with Sandra (except for Kari. She stayed in NYC with HBA and their friends).

Sandra made us amazing heart shaped vegan food.

Last night we arrived in New York just in time to play a show. We ended up making it there at around 9:30, and we went on at 11:00. We played at this place that "wasn't legally open for business." So, it was basically a speakeasy, which is awesome. Like the last place we played in NYC, we played in the basement of the bar.

Snow!! Yay. I haven’t seen snow in a while, so I took this video on the way out of Chicago.

As I type this, we are driving to Chicago, IL from St. Louis, MO. Our acoustic show went well despite the tiny crowd. I think that we learned the best way to present ourselves in a new city is not acoustic. Though our acoustic shows are freaking awesome, I think we should show new people electric Parade first. We did sell a cd, and the people that worked at The Red Sea were very friendly and helpful. We finished playing in time to head downstairs and see some of Happy Birthday Amy’s set, which made me happy.

Parade is playing the kick off show to our tour tonight at ISP space in East Atlanta. So come and wish us luck. We will be playing with Happy Birthday Amy (the band we're touring with!), The Ice Cream Socialists, and Cinetrope.

This show is free, so I don't want to hear any excuses. And... it's right next to the Earl, so you can walk to the Earl between bands and get wasted, come back and watch the bands. While wasted. WHOA.

We're playing a free show tomorrow night at Joe's Coffee in East Atlanta. We're going to tone it down for you all sexy and acoustic. It starts at 8pm. There will also be a ukulele band called Cheshire Bridge Academy playing before us. Early night. Let's go party afterwards? You can buy more drinks because the show is FREE.

BTW. We got our EP all mastered today. It should be on myspace soon, so look out for it. It sounds nice and shiney.

Well we had an amazing weekend. On late Friday afternoon, we drove Bevs up to Knoxville, TN to play a show at the Preservation Pub with The Sterns and Llama Train (http://www.myspace.com/llamatrain and http://www.myspace.com/thesterns). Driving through Tennessee was beautiful as usual. Ahhhh the mountains...
