3:58 pm [a_lioness]	The Security office is usually locked when there's no one inside. When it's locked, a pad of paper and a pen are attached to the door, as well as a large envelope for finished notes. When it's not locked, a member of Security can usually be found inside. Sometimes it's even Alanna. When it is, chances are that both the office door and the door across the hall are wide open. [[Open for any and all West things!] (67 Comments |Comment on this)

10:52 pm [a_lioness]	Sometime last night, after this, this and this, Alanna and X clear off the notice board in the security office and get to work. They leave the following for the rest of security: - A description of the evening's events, starting with Claire's account. - A description of the body, injuries listed in detail by X, and the murder scene. - An envelope containing photos and digital memory cards (with many more photos), pinned to the board. - Plastic bags containing the knife and the cupcake, locked in the file cabinet. - A list of suspects, drawn from their discussions with patrons and the scents X identified, with room for additions (see below) - Alanna's list of what they feel needs to happen, including questions that need answers. "Need stronger wards to protect scene of the crime" is underlined. A copy of everything except the photos and physical evidence is left with Bar for Mike, with one additional question: What and how much do you want us to say to the patrons? We need to ask for anyone with information to come forward. Bar is also instructed to let security members know they need to check the office board. 7:59 pm [cutting_edgex23]	X holds herself to brisk efficiency as she escorts Ruin through the Security office and into a cell. It seems -- safest. Her note is short and to the point. Ruin is sentenced to 12 days in the cells. He stabbed Jason in the stomach with a silver knife for the purposes of killing him. He has said he will try again. He has also threatened to target Yrael, the one who took Jason to the infirmary. I do not know how badly hurt he is. There was a lot of blood. 11:50 pm [cutting_edgex23]	After escorting Verity into a cell and setting Castiel-the-rabbit onto the desk so she can fill out the paperwork, X leaves a note pinned to the board. Verity has been arrested for manhandling and dropping a patron who was shape-changed into a rabbit. She has been sentenced to one day in the cells because no one was hurt. Except her, when the rabbit tried to defend himself. I do not think she will try again. --X-23 She will suggest that Baby give Verity some towels and water. To clean up the blood. 11:32 pm [loyaltyinmotion]	It's been a long, long time since Jason was locked in Baby. Still isn't any better than last time. He's lying on his cot, facing the wall. Everything Ruin told him is whipping through his head, and the worst part of it is... ...the worst part is that he didn't sense a lie. Not once. He's really tired of feeling like shit. 2:30 am [cutting_edgex23]	Jason, 2 days for fighting After handling Ruin's deposition and waiting for Jason to calm down, X leaves a note in the office. There was another fight. Ruin instigated verbally but did not strike first. Jason did. Then he attempted to restart the fight on his way to the cells. I have given him two days in the cells to calm down. I do not know what to do about Ruin if he gets into another fight. He is bad at not talking. --X-23 (Comment on this)

There's a pwing! and a flash of blue light, and Belar is in the corridor even as Elle is in one of the spartan but not altogether bad cells. "Here we are," says Belar. 8:35 pm [cutting_edgex23]	[After this.] After a significant amount of questioning and a short but pointed warning about fighting in the bar, X-style, X lets Ruin go, escorts Ramon into a cell, and leaves a note for the rest of Security. Ramon pulled a knife on Ruin during an altercation and stabbed him. He has been given three days in the cells. Ruin was let go because he was defending himself, but he has been warned to stop instigating fights. --X-23 (Comment on this)

11:35 pm [a_lioness]	[After this.] There's a new note up for security: I just finished helping to patch up a man who was stabbed through the hand earlier this evening. He was accused of cheating at cards by two men, one tall and one not, both "completely nuts." Their reaction to his supposed cheating was to stab him for it. It's a shaky description at best, but why do I feel as if it's all that's needed? I instructed him to alert the security officer on duty if he sees them again, and explain that they need to serve time in the cells for their free use of a knife. 4:08 pm [cutting_edgex23]	X leaves two notes in the Security office. Cal and Javert have both reported threatening encounters with Croup and Vandemar. Cal said they had a knife, and they moved to prevent him from leaving when he did not want to talk to them. They let him leave after he said he would call Security. Javert said they threatened him verbally, then one of them ate a human hand. He does not know if it belongs to someone from Milliways. I do not think it was. I have not smelled any decomposing bodies inside or outside. These incidents were before they were arrested for tearing off Vyvyan's arm. I do not know if they have done anything since. I have also told Javert that if they talk to him again he can call for Security. It is better to be safe. --X-23 The second note reads: Cal has reported very bad dreams after he met Carlotta Brown. Carlotta Brown had bad dreams, too. And Demeter. Carlotta might have been damaged, because the dreams frightened her enough that she hid in the stables when it was cold. Cal does not know if something or someone is causing this, but it is better to be careful. Maybe there is a pattern. There is a possibility it is transferred by contact. Demeter dreamed first, then Carlotta, then Cal. Maybe other people have dreamed, too. I do not know if it is better to check. Enzo is a possible contact point. Cal does not know if he had nightmares after they talked. A man named Sam did not. --X-23 She appends a description of both Enzo and Sam to the second note. Just in case. 7:48 pm [alorn_bear]	Hi, everyone. I arrested Croup and Vandemar a week ago for attacking Vyvyan and removing his arm. They got a week in the cells for violent assault with a non-lethal outcome. I've released them, but we'll be keeping an eye on them from now on. Let me know if you want to know what they look like; I can do projections of them for anyone who needs it. I don't trust them any farther than I trusted Bro-Bro back when he was alive. There's probably going to be trouble, so keep an eye out. -Belar (Comment on this)

10:07 am [alorn_bear]	Security Meeting Belar is a pretty laid-back kind of god, which is probably why there are donuts and various beverages in the security office when the meeting starts. He's also a polite god, which is why there are signs next to the food and drink apologizing for it not being something more alcoholic. That's for after the meeting. *ahem* Anyway. Once people are in the office and seated, he raises his voice. "Evening, all," he says. "Welcome back. For those of you who might not have known yet, I've been asked to take over as the new head of Security, so I figured we'd better do a shakedown for status reports and the state of the Bar and security operations in general. 12:36 am [cutting_edgex23]	X leads Castiel into the office, opening up one of the cells and gesturing him inside. Then she settles at the desk to write an incident report and a note for the rest of Security. Castiel has been put in the cells for two days. He assaulted a demon, Verity. She was hurt, but did not fight back. He knew the rules, but I have explained them again. He thinks she is very dangerous. They should both be observed carefully. It is better to be prepared. --X-23 And then, at least until it is time for her next shift, X settles down in front of Castiel's cell and waits. She thinks it is better not to be alone.
