About | About Community  Welcome to the weekly icon contest dedicated to the works and related media of Yuu Watase. Here is how it works, every week I throw out a theme, hopefully you guys can all help me think of themes if you so desire something specific. Themes include things like, “humor”, “rain”, “blue” or I can throw things out like you have to use certain lyrics in the image etc. The idea is to keep to the theme and do your very best making your avatar!  Community Rules1. One or two submission(s) per member unless otherwise stated. 2. All avatars (icons) must be related to anime/manga that Yuu Watase created (for example: Imadoki, Ayashi no Ceres...etc) no matter what. It can be anything she created as long as it's hers. 3. Avatars must be LJ compatible: 100x100 in size and 40KB. 4. Fan art is not allowed, Yuu Watase's artwork is beautiful enough, there's no need to use fan art ^_^ 5. I’m trying to keep this community as fair as possible so please don’t get 300 of your friends on your list to vote for you, cause I’ll find out ^_~ 6. Don’t steal any of the avatars made here, please ask! 7. Please try to keep your avatars fresh, meaning not previously made and shown around everywhere. Try to make them specifically for the contest! 8. Keep your avatars as tasteful as possible. 9. NO CHEATING, or BIAS behavior whatsoever =/ 10. HAVE FUN! OF COURSE! =D SubmittingFriday after voting goes up, I give out a theme, you have until the following Friday @ 12:00am Eastern time to submit for that week’s theme. After which no more avatars can be submitted, and comments are screened so no one will know who’s submitting what until voting is over. So don’t worry, if you’re new at this, just submit in the “comments” section, everything will be okay! Just make sure you’re logged in, and ONLY submit in the post where I write, “submit”…I’ll let you all know though.  |  About VotingWill take place from Friday after submission end to Sunday @ 10:00pm Eastern. Only members of the community will be able to vote. And simply you vote by commenting in the post I mark “voting” and where I show the submissions, you just write down according to how many avatars I say to vote on, with your favorites. PLEASE make sure that these “favorites” are what you think are the best, how the theme was handled not just because you like/hate Miaka or prefer some other character that is on it. Please be honest about your votes, not bias… =/ if I find out biases are going on, I’m gonna be mad BLERGH. When voting, please pick three in order of preference (as we go by a point system where your first choice gets three points and your third choice gets one). And depending on the amount of submissions, we also have a Special Category vote which is an icon in which you think best fits that particular category. While repeated votes aren't encouraged, its really your choice. ^_^ The categories are as follows: Best Adaption Best Text Best Display of Emotion Best Color Most Creative Overall, as an example, your vote should look something like this: 10, 09, 11 12 PLEASE don’t vote for yourself as well sowee.
