This is a place to go to when you need a place, just like a warm blanket on a cold winter's night. This is a place for anyone who has survived or suffered rape, assualt, abuse, depression, mental illness to come and talk about whatever they need to discuss and those who would offer them support, comfort, and guidance. The community was set up FOR the survivors, but anyone is welcome, as long as they follow the community rules. This is a place to explore fears and questions. This is a place for anyone that just needs a place to go or who feel they have nowhere else to go to. Maybe they've been kicked out, maybe their parents won't listen to them. Here, they can talk about things that are bothering them, they can talk about what happened to them, or whatever's on their mind. We've all had our bad moments, the times when we just needed someone to talk to, someone to listen, someone to support us. You'll find that here. This community supports the need/desire to talk to someone, anytime of day. Once a complete stranger came up to me and gave me a hug. My depression had been so severe that I was skipping class and sitting in the bathrooms at our school. That hug meant the world to me. That's what this community is about...sharing love and support for anyone out there that is in need of it. No questions asked. And, for people that were once a part of garage.as, this community was inspired by that very same place. Rules: Anything *triggery* needs to be in an lj-cut. Only supportive comments are welcomed. If you say something that is unsupportive, your post/comment will be deleted and you will be kicked out of this community. Welcome. :) | ||
