My God but Nanowrimo is a productive time for me.

So! Iconpost! It’s been a while since I did one of these, and then I realized how darn many Avatar icons I’ve made lately and decided to correct that oversight. These were made over the course of several months in the process of relearning Photoshop, so some are a lot nicer than others.

Also it’s. It’s a lot of icons. Ahahahahahaohgodthere’s83. DX THEY’RE JUST SO MUCH FUN TO MAKE, DAMMIT. Zuko, Jet, Song, Jetko, Maiko, Soko, Jet/Song, and a handful of random others.

These are all incredibly awesome. Two of my favorites are "Tea: 1, Jetko: 0" and the "Nephew" one.

I'm new to actually doing stuff on LJ, what is the accepted way for crediting the creator of icons? All the other sites I use, it's a signature shout-out, but LJ doesn't do the signature thing.

Personally I include the creator's lj name in my icon keywords--for example, this icon's key phrase is "lies do not become us [darkchan]"--but I see a lot of people link directly to the name in their icon comment with something like "icon by [info]warlock_knuckle" or just the username. I've never met anyone who was too picky about it, though. Basically as long as you slap the name on somewhere other people can see it you should be good.

I saved a TON of these! I saw the "beginner's guide to subtext" a while back and I laughed my ASS off and told everyone about it. I love funny text icons to death, and I also really like your clever use of song lyrics.
