what a day
Okay so My store had a power outage that lasted almost 3 hours.
We of course had to shut down the deli and the customers that were being waited on at the time of the outage got soo angry that we couldn't finish there order...HELLO our slicers are electric! plus they wouldn't be able to check out anyways. hah
anyways the refer truck took forever I believe because we weren't told to start loading up carts to take to it and our cooler temperatures were getting close to having to throw everything away. I believe that if it was out for another 20 minutes and the truck wasn't there, our whole dept would of been shot. THANKFULLY it came on.
anyways that was the high point in work today...hah

Bah! How dare you lose power !? Eleventy11! If it doesn't scan, it's free!! If it is marked as $10.00 and it rings up at $9.00, I get the 'scan law'...If it is $88.88 and 'obviously' the gun printed $_8.88., I get it for $8.88...FOADIAF!!!!!

We had that happen to us one night. We were just about to shut down our hot case. And of course we couldn't weigh out the food. I ended up bagging it all and labeling it for them to weigh in the morning so we could soak the pans. But we got nothing done since management had us help save food.

Morning shift was angry, but as they admitted it wasn't our faults.

Don't you know you can magically snap your fingers and not only make the slicers work during the outage, but also keep the registers going so they can check out too?!?! It's common knowledge! Not to mention that any Wal-Mart cashier automatically knows the price, location, and in-stock status of every last one of the 100K+ items in the store.

completely agree...

And then on top of it all we have to get the television that is on display and weighs 400 lbs. for a customer with no help at all...

People bitched at my store that they couldn't finish shopping and check out when the store was ON FIRE. I mean, how dare we have a fire when they are shopping. The nerve.
