Welcome to WALKTHESKYLINE. This is a community for all fans of the relationship between Luke Skywalker and his father, Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker), from the movie series, "Star Wars", to indulge with fellow comrades. Content here may range from fanwork, recommendations, or various discussions. Our only basis is the Vader/Luke fandom.
This community is not for everyone. As a community based on the Vader/Luke fandom, we take in all of its aspects. Thus, while content here does regard the father-son relationship between Vader and Luke, we also support the Vader/Luke coupledom. To put it simply, portrayals of an incestuous slash relationship between the Dark Lord and his child can be present here. If this offends you in any way, this community is, again, not for you and it is highly recommended that one leaves now. We will not limit what one reads and/or sees here so please surf at your own discretion. Open-mindedness is warmly encouraged, ignorance is no excuse, and flames will be duly ignored.

1. Have a basic concept of what "Star Wars" is as well as who Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) are.
2. One must be a fellow supporter of the Vader/Luke fandom to join this community. However, this does not necessarily mean one must support all aspects of the Vader/Luke relationship. For example, one who supports the father-son relationship between Luke and Vader but not the idea of slash between them is still more than welcome here. Our only additional policy in regards to such a situation (or a similar one) is that one acknowledges that there are members here with alternate views and be willing to coexist peacefully with this community's entirety. So if you happen to see something posted here that you don't like, simply ignore it, don't comment, or even avoid looking at the said post all together. Thanks! ^_^
3. Keep your posts relevant. This community is founded on the basis of Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker), Luke Skywalker, and their relationship. We expect all posts, contributed fanwork, and anything uploaded to this journal to concern this topic in some way. Use your best judgement. ;P
4. No RPS or talking about how hot Mark Hammil or Hayden Christensen is, folks. This community is based upon the fictional characters, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker). Not the actors who played them.
5. All ratings are acceptable. Remember to provide warnings accordingly whenever applicable.
6. Please post all fanart and fanfiction behind an lj-cut.
7. When posting fanart, fanfiction, or recommendations for fanfiction, please follow this format as closely as possible.

8. Images are also acceptable at this community. Again, please put such things under an lj-cut. In specific regards to icons, an lj-cut must be used when posting more than three icons. However, up to three teasers are allowed before the cut.
9. DO NOT HOTLINK. Services such as Photobucket and Picturetrail are readily available.
10. Please keep an eye out on your grammar and conventions. Spell check would be nice as well. I understand one can get away a lot easier with writing poor English on the net, but it's often a hassle to your readers.
11. Advertising and pimpage is allowed as long as it clearly pertains to the Vader/Luke fandom in some way.
12. Feel free to (in fact, please!) introduce yourself to the community, but try to insert some sort of Vader/Luke-related content within the same post (even if it's something as minimal as "I got into this fandom because/through...). As delighted as we are to have you in our community, we'd like to keep in tune with our "Vader/Luke-related content" rule.

A very active Yahoo!Group dedicated to the writers of Luke/Vader stories. All fanfiction within this group is based on the father-son relationship aspect of the Luke/Vader fandom and also has a PG-13 restriction. There are a wonderful multitude of fics here and many are bound to downright make one's heart melt. <3
The Luke/Vader Writers II Yahoo!Group
Sister Yahoo!Group to the original Luke/Vader Writers. Though while not as active as its predecessor, fanfiction here can take ratings up to NC-17 and slash is evident here and there (one must be of legal age to access this group). Again, this is another highly recommended site for the fellow Vader/Luke fan.
Blazing Suns
A wonderfully elaborate fanfiction archive dedicated to the father-son relationship between Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) and Luke Skywalker. Besides the fanfiction available, there is also a Multimedia section provided... and the cartoons there are a MUST-SEE. Appears to be on hiatus as of May 2005.
