So. Hi guys. It's been awhile, hasn't it? ^^;;

Sorry about the long delay. Between moving back to the Western hemisphere, finishing university, finding a job, getting engaged, and planning a wedding, I've been a bit busy. I don't know what Bob's excuse is other than he is Bob. :D

Walk the Sky is a community for the collaborative Star Wars fanfiction of aelie_baby and bigbadbob03. It consists mainly of the AU universe based of the "what if" scenario of Anakin Skywalker having a twin and proceeds from there. There are three major story arcs that roughly follow the Original Trilogy in the beginning, then splits off into true AU. Original characters, alternate characterizations, and twisted humor abound, so you may wish to mind your step.

the story arcs:

* Originally titled "It's Just Been a Long Day," the first story arc "Eye of the Storm" is set just before and during the film A New Hope. It was first posted from January - March of 2005 at the Dark Lord's Council, theforce.net, and the Galactic Centre and was written solely by aelie_baby. It is in the process of revision and will be the first arc posted on this comm.

* "Gathering Tempest" was first called "Eye of the Storm," ironically enough. It could be described as being based on The Empire Strikes Back, but really, it's only marginally based on the film. It was co-written by aelie_baby, bigbadbob03, and a fellow DLC-er named ShrunkenJedi. It was originally posted from April - August of 2005. It, too, is under revision.

* The still-as-of-yet-untitled third story arc has been started and planned out and well... it'll be awhile before you see it.


That being said, a few basic guidelines:

1. Posting is closed to only the writers. However, if you would like something (art, vignette, philosophical debate) posted, simply talk to either aelie or bob. We are very accomodating.

2. Comments are highly encouraged. Critiques are as well. Feedback in general, really. Debates are also encouraged as it's always fun to argue over fandom. :-)  However, flaming is not tolerated by any stretch of the imagination and will result in a warning, and then a ban.

3. Have fun and don't poke the droids.
