here's a S+S wallpaper for y'all because i was feeling in the mood. the EVA wall/headers/icons came to be because the new calendar scans are just gorgeous-- so gothy and european-looking; hence the paris theme. i was going for psychedelic coloring so sorry if they hurt your eyes.

HARRY POTTER 2008 FANART CALENDAR
...my apologies that it arrived halfway through january ^^;;;



a bit of an explanation for this: up to last year i was living in the united states, and there was really no problem in walking into a walmart or something and getting an official harry potter calendar, right? well, this year i'm back to my own country (panama) and such thing doesn't really happen here. i needed a calendar, though, so i remembered that before i moved to the states, like back when i was in high school, i used to make my own. and pretty much my favorite thing from HP is the fanart community-- i've got so many of them saved up on my hard drive that it takes up like 60% of the total space. no kidding here. so i decided that since i love photoshopping and such, i could just make up some collages of my favorite fanarts and turn them into calendars. i feel it came out rather nice (i've already got mine printed out and such xD) and felt it was a shame that only i would enjoy it. when i mentioned it in my LJ some people were interested in my posting it for download, so here it is.

there are two versions: one printable version (.pdf) and the PC wallpaper versions (.zip file contaning .jpgs). the pdf contains a cover and back cover as well as each month's calendar; the zip only contains jpgs for each month.

the way this works is that each month has a theme, normally a character or a character group. sorry folks, but there is no snape whatsoever in this thing. i don't much like the guy. there's also no dumbledore, no hagrid, no voldemort (as himself or tom riddle) and such. it mostly focuses on the sextet, plus the twins, draco and tonks because i love them too much to leave them out, and the marauders + lily. THERE ARE NO SHIPS INTENDED WHATSOEVER. well, except for james and lily, i guess. what; i ran out of months, so sue me! ¬_¬ besides, there isn't enough fanart of the two individually. *shrug*
