voy_stillness, a Star Trek Voyager icon contest for non animated icon. The community is currently moderated by
![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small}
frohike and robyriker. Each week a theme or cap will be provided for the challenge. Members will then make icons
for the given challenge, which will be subsequently voted on. All submissions are made as a
comment to a specified post.
1. Your submissions cannot be animated! (It's kind of the point of the entire contest)
2. Your submissions must remain anonymous. This means you cannot use your icon or post
it anywhere till the voting period is over.
YOUR SUBMISSION WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF THIS RULE IS BROKEN.
3. No telling your friends to vote for you or voting for yourself. It breaks rule #2 and it's
not fair to the people who follow the rules.
4. Make sure your submission fits LJ's size standards (100x100 pixels or smaller).
5. The following formats are accepted: jpg, gif, png.
6. Please don't take any of the contest icons without the creator's permission.
7. Keep the icons decent. Imply what you wish, but remember that children can see your icons.
8. An icon which does not comply with these rules may be disqualified without notice.
1. At the beginning of each contest a post will be made where you can reply with your
submission. Comments will be screened so the only people who can see your submission
are you and the moderator/s.
2. You will post your icon in the appropriate post, and when voting time comes around,
Mods will post them.
3. Please include URL of the icon when posting.
Challenge goes up Monday, closes Friday. Voting goes up shortly thereafter, closing on the Monday, shortly after which the next challenge will go up (we hope).
Times are specified in the relevant post.
Times are indicated in GMT. Calculate your time zone using world time server.
1. Vote by commenting in the post that calls for votes (comments are screened).
2. You don't have to be a member of the community to vote.
3. Anonymous votes will not be counted. Make sure you are logged in.
4. Please vote for three icons unless otherwise specified. It is not necessary to vote 'in order' eg first, second, third place.
5. Mod's Choice will be the icon that the Moderator/s chooses to be the
best in their opinion.
6. Because of the anonymous submissions rules, moderators may compete at anytime.
