The News Media Is Looking For Scapegoats To Explain Why Their Adam Lost! [May 27, 2009 @ 4:20pm]
joseph_jofus
After Their Adam lost, his fans (including those in the news media) are looking for scapegoats.

CNN thinks they found one: Two AT&T "texting parties" in Arkansas where many text votes were submitted for Our Kris.

CNN is calling this the "Textgate Scandal".

I have news for CNN: They're barking up the wrong tree. There is no "Textgate Scandal".

Those AT&T "texting parties" weren't the reason why our Kris won.

Our Movement was the reason why Our Kris won.

We have members across the country who spread the word: Vote for Our Picks.

And on May 19th, they did just that.

If you want to see the CNN article, click-on http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/27/ent.american.idol.voting/index.html .

And get ready to have a good laugh.

What A Delicious Triumph! [May 21, 2009 @ 12:28pm]
joseph_jofus
Not since Season One (when Kelly Clarkson won) had someone entered the "Top 10/12/13" round of "Idol" so heavily favored to win as Their Adam was this season.

Last night (May 20), the results were revealed. I'm sure major newspapers around the country had already prepared, and were ready to print, big headlines extolling "ADAM WINS!".

But something happened on the way to The Powers That Be getting who and what they wanted.

That something was Our Movement.

We successfully convinced millions to vote for Our Kris instead of Their Adam.

So what if the nation's music critics are saying that Our Kris didn't deserve the title of "American Idol 2009"?

So what if newspapers around the country this morning (May 22) had headlines saying "SHOCKER!"?

We have prevailed.

TPTB must now recognize that we are a force to be reckoned with.

And believe me, more people will buy Our Kris' version of "No Boundaries" than would have bought Their Adam's version of that song.

I wish to thank the VFTW High Council and the other "Worsters" for making Our Movement into something that TPTB can't stop. Without you, Their Adam would have won.

And as for TPTB: Their headaches are only beginning. Wait until next year, when our pick at the beginning of the Top 12/13 round goes all the way, singing sucktacular song after suckltacular song, and infuriating TPTB at each and every turn.

There may have been some homes around the country last night where teenyboppers cried in disgust when Their Adam didn't win.

But there were millions of more homes where members of, or people touched by, Our Movement were overjoyed when Our Kris was announced as the winner.

Finale Spoiler! [May 20, 2009 @ 2:02pm]
joseph_jofus
The next post in this thread will be an analysis of what Dial Idol.com thinks the voting went in the May 19th final sing-off.

Will The Powers That Be's Choice, Their Adam, win an easy victory (as has been predicted over the last few weeks)??

Or will Our Movement spoil TPTB's vision of tonight's finale and Our Kris pull-off the biggest upset in reality TV history??

If you don't want to know what their analysis is, don't open this thread until after you see the results show.

FYI: If you plan to set your Tivo or VCR to tape the finale, be aware it will likely run until about 10:10 P.M. in the Eastern and Pacific time zones (9:10 Central/Mountain). Be sure to set at least ten extra minutes; I'd set fifteen extra minutes since I have a funny feeling The Commander-In-Chief will appear (probably via video link from the White House unless he makes a surprise trip to California to do so in person) to congratulate the winner.

(As always, Dial Idol.com's analysis is neither official nor scientific)

It's Got To Be Kris!! [May 14, 2009 @ 3:37pm]
joseph_jofus
After Our Danny got voted-off, the choice for next week's finale is clear:

It must be Kris!

It can't be Adam, because that's who The Powers That be want us to vote for!

So next Tuesday (May 19), I say, to paraphrase one of our favorite Idols (Our Megan), Caw For Kris!

Our Movement can still screw-up TPTB's plans.

The VFTW High Council should make Kris our final pick and we should get the entire country behind us.

We have a chance to gain the final victory of Season 8.

Top Three Week Spoiler [May 13, 2009 @ 3:56pm]
joseph_jofus
The next message in this thread is an analysis of Dial Idol.com's look at last night's (May 12) voting.

If you don't want to know which two Idols they think will move on to next Tuesday's (May 19) final sing-off, don't click-on this thread until after you've seen the results show.

FYI: Chances are that tonight, there will be no "bottom two" as such. If past practice holds, Ryan Seacrest will call each of the Final Three down to the front-center of the stage.

Either he will announce which of the three has been eliminated, or he will announce which two will go on to next week's finale.

If only he could announce: "The two contestants going on to next week's finale are----Kris and Danny! I'm sorry Adam, but congratulations on a strong third-place finish".

Pauler Fesses Up! [May 06, 2009 @ 2:14pm]
joseph_jofus
Yes, Paula The Judge has finally admitted she was on various drugs for twelve years.

Makes you wonder whenever she said "I'm A Big Fan" on the show whether she was a fan of the Idol she was judging, or of whatever drug du jour she was using.

What Now?? [April 30, 2009 @ 12:29pm]
joseph_jofus
After seeing Our Matt get unjustly voted-off, I guess Our Movement has only two choices:

(1) Support Kris (But I'm not so sure about that----Kris hasn't really been as Sucktacular as our other picks), or,

(2) "Pack It In" for the season because no remaining Idol is up to our standards for over-the-top entertainment.

What should we do??

Top Five Week Spoiler [April 29, 2009 @ 2:10pm]
joseph_jofus
The next post in this thread is an analysis of Dial Idol.com's predictions for this week.

Bear in mind that Dial Idol.com's projections are neither official nor scientific. In fact, of late, they've often been wrong (in contrast to prior seasons).

BTW, can you believe they made the Idols sing songs from the "Rat Pack" (Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra)?????

(But Our Matt was sucktacular doing "My Funny Valentine")

Simon Speaks! [April 28, 2009 @ 1:18pm]
joseph_jofus
I rad something in the paper quoting Nasty Simon as predicting that Danny The Geek and Adam The Dull One should go head-to-head in the final sing-off three weeks from now.

Another reason not to vote for either of them.

Our Movement must make sure that Our Choice will go on to the finale, so that when all is said and done, neither Danny nor Adam will be the winner.

Our Sanjaya Returns To TV This Summer! [April 28, 2009 @ 1:16pm]
joseph_jofus
VFTW Hall-Of-Famer (and one of our all-time favorites), Our Sanjaya, will be back on TV this summer as part of the next season of "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!".

I hope his exposure on this show will lead to the superstardom he deserves.

Top Seven Week (Part Deux) Spoiler [April 22, 2009 @ 3:03pm]
joseph_jofus
The next post in this thread is an analysis of Dial Idol.com's predictions for this week.

For Our Movement, this is the most important week so far because two Idols will be voted-off this week since Nasty Simon And Company used the "save" last week.

Last night, I voted for Our Lil until my fingers hurt. Hopefully, millions of others followed our lead.

If you don't want to know which two Idols Dial Idol.com predicts will get voted-off beforehand, do not click-on this thread until after the results show has been broadcast in your area.

(Of course, should Our Lil survive, as I think she will, she'll finish no worse than Fifth----and Our Movement might gain so much momentum that she might even beat-out This Year's Pre-Ordained Winner and take the title!

I Smell A Dozen Rats! [April 02, 2009 @ 1:09pm]
joseph_jofus
I was actually shocked that Simon did not use the "save" to keep Our Megan in the competition.

I smell a rat. Actually, I think a smell a dozen of them.

I think this voting-off was rigged, even though Dial Idol.com's unofficial analysis (I'm sorry for not posting it this week; I was too busy on Wednesday to do so) had her in last.

The bottom line: I don't think our Megan had the fewest number of votes this week!

I think The Powers That Be got rid of her to try to prevent Our Movement from taking over the show. It was either screw us now, or else they'd lose control of "Idol" and Our Movement would have the upper hand.

TPTB may be singing a different tune five years from now when Our Megan is one of the top female singers in the world and This Year's Pre-Ordained Choice (Danny Who Lost His Young Wife) has become the question ("Who Was Danny Gokey?") to a "Final Jeopardy" answer ("He Won "American Idol" in 2009, But His Recording Career Lasted For One Album") in the category "Forgotten Celebrities".

Schedule Change! [March 20, 2009 @ 2:43pm]
joseph_jofus
Once more, President Obama has decided to have a prime-time TV appearance on a Tuesday night.

This coming week (March 23-27th), "American Idol" will air Wednesday and Thursday instead of Tuesday and Wednesday so Fox can carry his press conference live.

The funny thing is that for a few months, Fox seriously considered moving "Idol" this season to a Wednesday/Thursday schedule.

It looks like we'll get a Wednesday/Thursday schedule at least a couple of times this season.

Starting at 10:01 P.M. Eastern time on Wednesday, and for the next two hours, I will Caw for Our Megan!

Keep Caw-Ling! [March 19, 2009 @ 2:43pm]
joseph_jofus
Yes, Our Movement has put Our Megan into The Top Ten (meaning she goes out on your later this year) and this past week, kept her out of The Dreaded Bottom Three.

But we can't rest on our laurels.

We must keep Caw-Ling every week until TPTB's plans are shattered and Our Megan is announced as winner of "American Idol 8".

We must not only make sure she stays in, but we must also keep her out of The Dreaded Bottom Three.

Tell everyone you know to Cawl her number every week.

Cawl! Cawl! Cawl!

"Idol" May Be The Most-Rigged Show Since The Quiz Scandals! [March 17, 2009 @ 12:50pm]
joseph_jofus
In the past, I have given the nickname "Charles VanDoren" to former "Idol" Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe because it seemed to me that he tried to rig "American Idol" to make sure that Our Movement's choices would get voted-off. VanDoren was, according to my high-school history teacher, the contestant on the 1950's prime-time game show "Twenty-One" who (among others) was given the answers to questions he would be asked on the show.

BTW, the persons who actually rigged the original "Twenty-One" were co-executive producers Jack Barry and Dan Enright (the former was also host of the show), and producer Al Freedman. VanDoren went along to win his big money.

But it seems that new "Idol" EP Ken Warwick may be a combination of Barry, Enright, and Freedman, given this New York Daily News story, suggesting that although eleven Idols remain, TPTB have already picked "Idol"'s version of the Final Four:

http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2009/03/17/2009-03-17_american_idol_chatter_foursees_finalists.html .

It is more important than ever that we vote for Our Megan, and do so in such numbers that were she to be "voted-off" (even though not receiving the fewest number of votes), the entire world would know something is fishy.

Hopefully, if enough people follow Our Movement's desires, TPTB will have to keep Megan in, knowing that a major scandal would erupt, one which could knock AIG and Bernie Madoff off the front pages of the world's newspapers.

Vote For Megan! VFTW!
