'Tis the season... for a holiday challenge!!  We mods have decided to help celebrate the season by challenging all you Doctor Who vidders to create a vid using any type of winter holiday music you wish. If you don't celebrate the holidays, no worries. We've also decided to keep the dance music challenge open for anyone who still wants to participate.

The deadline for this challenge is December 24, 12PM PST, just so we have enough time to enjoy all your vids before "Voyage of the Damned" premieres. :D

For this challenge, the dance music challenge, you need to make a vid to something you'd dance to in a club. So put your disco shoes on, turn up that thumping beat, and get that Doctor dancin'. Have fun! :)

I graduated from high school in 1998 (I's OLD!), and luckily enough that's when Muse released this song on an EP a year before the Showbiz album officially came out. ;) I was planning to do this song for a Doctor/Master vid anyway (their lyrics in general tend to parallel the new series so well you'd think they'd done some of their own travelling with the Doctor). This seemed the perfect opportunity!

I checked the lists for the year I graduated high school and, to my amusement, found this song. It brought back so many memories of high school... so how could I resist? (First time posting here or making a DW vid for that matter, so let me know if I've done anything incorrectly.)

They say music is the soundtrack of our lives. That said, I'd like folks to pick a song from the year they graduated High School. If you don't like any of those, go for college/university, but preferably High School since that's when you transition from child/teen to adult in most cases. If you haven't yet graduated, feel free to choose one from this year or select a significant milestone from your life like getting your driver's license. :D

Since I know that not all of us can remember what happened that far back (LOL), here is a link to links of the Billboard Top 100 for each year (scroll to the bottom of the page). You aren't limited to those songs, perhaps there was another song off one of those albums, or one by an obscure artist or a country artist since that's all pop/rock music. :)

Right then, for this challenge you have to make a Doctor Who vid using a song that is in a foreign language,be that French or Elfish! But not oohs and aahs, as in Star Wars's duel of the fates, where it is a language, but you can't really make out the words...also, try to choose a song that's not your mother tongue either, to really make it a challenge! (but if English isn't your mother tongue, try a new language, like German, or Swedish, or anything at all!!! Let's make the Doctor sound really from somewhere else!)

Hopefully this is clear enough and that you'll be able to come up with cool ideas for some new vids!
