Richars and Byerly Vorrutyer

I thought I'd get this out.
I think Byerly's machinations were covert enough for Richars to suspect (if he were inclined to do so) that Byerly was involved, but not enough for him to get conclusive proof.
In my mind, Richars believes that Byerly loves him and wouldn't deliberately set him up, or sell him out, but that he was forced to turn imperial witness by ImpSec in those ways they have. He is a bit saddened that By didn't trust him to get him off without turning imperial witness, but he attributes that to a weakness in Byerly's character.
Thoughts?

Vor=RPG rules

Posting Rules :
1.) Characters are expected to post to their own
journals at least once a week and to interact with other threads and
other people regularly. Obvious exceptions for vacations, medical
leaves, etc, but please inform the group you are leaving. Any
journals left inactive for two weeks may be removed at the discretion
of the mods.

2.) vor_rpg, is the primary IC journal. This is where all the third
person actions go.

3.) vor_ooc is for plotting and other out of character interactions.

4.) Your personal diary entries go into their own journals, and are
either locked to others or not (locked status should be mentioned in
the title, rather then using GJ's actual privacy settings

5.) Please refrain from using netspeak, sticky caps (LiKe tHiS), or
obvious anachronisms (Smokin' hottie at 12:00!). Remember this is the
Barrayar (or Beta or whatever), and American slang would be out of
place.

6.) Please work to bring threads to a conclusion. We understand that
outside factors can interfere with posting, but unfinished dialogue
between characters can leave gaping holes in plot, which leads to
messy back-tracking. It is also disrespectful to the other player(s).
If it takes several days to bring a scene to a satisfactory
conclusion, very well, but at least make the effort.

Other Rules (AKA common courtesy) : 1.) You can bring your own
plotlines into our RPG, but please contact any members it involves
and of course the moderators to see if it conflicts with anyone
else's plots.

2.) Please put pictures behind cut-tags for those with slow
connections.

3.) Please restrict the commenting to "Friends Only" to keep
non-gamers or anonymous people from commenting in your character's
personal journal. The IC journal will be public, but the ooc
journal, as well as your own journals for this game should be locked
friends only. We do not want non-players reading the non-IC stuff

4.) Once in the RPG, place everyone plus the communities on your
friends list. It makes it easier to keep up with everyone. This way
you will not get left behind. Do not add anyone to your friends list
but other players. Once again, your character's journal is only meant
for this group. We do have a method in place which automatically adds
all registered players to your friends list in one easy step.

5.) Do not join multiple communities with your character's journal.
It is only meant for this group.

6.) THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISING COMMUNITY! If you want to hook up with
players and start another community, or join another community,
that's cool. But please do not openly advertise in our OOC boards.

7.) Be friendly to everyone. We're not here to start drama out of
character; we're here to have fun. If you are reported as harassing
or annoying people by anyone, you will be spoken to and most likely
removed, possibly hunted down and shot on sight as a terrorist, well
maybe not, but please, treat everyone as you would like to be
treated. It's a good rule of thumb.

8.) The moderators are friends, not food. They work together to make
sure everything runs smoothly. If there's a problem, they fix it. If
you have a problem or need some guidance, please bring it to their
attention. It's what they live for. Also, they are the final arbiters
and what they say goes. Meaningless arguing with the moderators is
strongly discouraged. Rational explanations are usually acceptable.

Relationship Rules :

1.) Any reasonable relationships are allowed
(het/slash/swirl/monogamy/polygamy/bestiality, etc.), but not without
character development. You can't just start out having an affair with
a unicorn. You must go into the whens, wherefores, and whys.

2.) Relationships require the consent of all parties involved.
Unrequited drooling does not require any consent at all. Stalking is
acceptable provided it is in character.

3.) Please try not to take IC romances/antagonisms out of character.
This is, after all, role-playing. Though Character A may be in love
with Character B, Player A might not be infatuated with Player B. Or,
though Character A might wish Character B a gruesome death, that does
not mean that Player A wishes the same for Player B. Keep
relationships in perspective.

Any questions, comments or concerns about these rules can be directed
to the moderators, using the contact information found on the front
page of this community.

Have fun!
