Upon hearing that Luke’s father is in orbit above Tatooine and conducting a massive search of the planet, Uncle Ben and Aunt Beru fake their own deaths.

Obi-Wan:         that’s no moon.

Han Solo:         Sure it is.

Obi-Wan:         No, it's not.

Han Solo:         Yeah-huh, Have you been to Coruscant? Whole dang planet looks like that.

Obi-Wan:         I’ve been to Coruscant…

HAN SOLO:   Oh wait, It’s the Death Star! I recognize it now. I paid 50 credits to get a gunnery tower named after Chewie.

Chewbacca:                 Grrrawarr.

Obi-Wan:         Those things are a rip-off, you know.

Han Solo:         No it’s not, we got a plaque and everything.

The seams when the Death Star are closed, look much bigger in the photos. The action once you begin to transform the toy, is smooth and solid.

The Imperial ship was not included with the set, but it fits the scale better than the falcon included.

I love the morbid detail of the fried owen and beru

Here are my two favorite non-Star Wars toys

Pt 2

Pt 3

they are nice solid toys, mostly metal and very smooth actions in the wheels and doors. I still need the one from the first movie, which includes a lightning rod.

nice attention to detail too, including the changed plates

Dafoe rocks. I wish I got hom and the Dunst figure from Spider Man. I like to pick up celebrity figures, like Jurassic Park's Jeff Goldblum.

thanks for posting pics of the DS. I love this toy, despite it's strange medling of 2 seemingly unrelated envirionments. It's wierd/fun how the death star has that sand ramp leading up to it! I think I would have made that piece either clear plastic or sand that turned into space or something. Regardless, they have packed pretty much the whole ANH into this one set. All the Tatooine environments are fun to see in there, as is the cool little Death Star part.

Nice Fett helmet ;)
