[12 Oct 2008|09:10pm] brokenrecord__ [ mood | tired ] So, I hate tomorrow. Primarily because MICHELLE OBAMA IS COMING TO MY SCHOOL RIGHT OF THE MIDDLE OF WHEN I HAVE A MIDTERM. So, you know. That's really awesome. gah. Then there's the fact that Monday's already my busiest day plus the fact that I'm tutoring that girl at 7 and then working with my math group on our group project at 10 PM. gah. I want to be watching How I Met Your Mother and Gossip Girl and all that, not doing math! Tuesday is nice because my lab that's usually in the afternoon was canceled. But I have to write a 5 page paper on a book I haven't started yet for Developmental Psych that is due the Monday after Fall Break (which is this weekend), and unless I really want to write the paper at home while I'm supposed to be relaxing, I have to get started on that on Tuesday and Wednesday. I hate professors who assign things due after breaks! It's just cruel. So yeah, that's my life right now. I'm so excited to go home, though. I'm going to vote! And I'm going to see my birds for the first time since August! The only thing that sucks is that my flight is Thursday at 9, so I have to get up at the crack of dawn to get there in time. (Ok, not really the crack of dawn, but it will feel like it!) And the stupid thing is that I totally could have flown on Wednesday since Multivariable Calc and Wind Ensemble are canceled, and in Developmental Psych all we're doing is another group's presentation. So I could have easily missed that. Oh well. I suppose that gives me more time to do my paper and other homework due Monday after Fall Break and maybe even get started on declaring my major, because yeah, I still haven't done anything in regards to that yet and I'm still freaking out over that. post comment

A lot of nothing [12 Oct 2008|09:11pm] isisizabel [ mood | blah ] [ music | Not Afraid - Stephanie Smith ] Just a random update because, well, I'm bored. I actually have a BIG icon update planned, but my computer has this nasty habit of crashing on my lately, and since it takes me close to an hour to get all the icons up on a good day, I refuse to even attempt it. I figure I'll just use the school's computer tomorrow. Much easier. Despite all of my refusal to watch, fallinangelz21 has finally gotten me to watch an episode of Sons of Anarchy. And I'm hopelessly hooked. I spent most of Saturday watching the six episodes that have aired these last 6 weeks to catch up. If you aren't watching, I highly recommend it. That show's like crack. I've heard the first two songs released from the Twilight soundtrack (the first big single is by Paramore, and the second is the theme at the prom scene by Iron & Wine). Both songs are excellent and fitting. I'm really getting amped up for this movie. I also need to change my moodtheme... While I love Disney, I'm a mite tired of it. Hmph. post comment

Vale, siempre que leo una canción bonita la intento acomodar a mi modo de vida, pero es que no soy yo, es que creo que lo hace todo el mundo, y por esa regla de tres ya tengo como cuarenta mil tresciento sesenta y siete canciones que hablan sobre mi, mi vida o lo que me rodea. Esta canción es una de ellas, pero la he descubierto hace 5 minutos, y me siento tan...así, que no he podido resistirme a postear. Que la cantante no es que sea de mi devoción, pero estoy empezando a abrirme a lo popero. (uhh) Letra tras el cut.   (  one of the boys ) 2. Serialmente hablando, hay cosas que por naturaleza quiero que pase en algun momento de la historia, Jim & Pam juntos forever (esto no esta muy lejos), una pelicula de Wonderfalls, Y que Mal e Inara de Firefly se liaran en algun punto del trayecto, en Serenity 2 si agun dia pasa, mejor, pero gracias al universo, ha pasado esto: ( so, you guys are never going to kiss? ) Y nada, que estoy haciendo una lista de todos los episodios vistos en 1 año, me falta poner los capitulos que he visto hoy ( a saber a cuantos llego!!!), que, btw, me estoy viendo Prison Break de nuevo y está muy interesante. [12 Oct 2008|02:55pm] cloud415 So, I am home sick. :( My sinus infection is still really painful. It really sucks 'cause I know that work is super crazy right now and I wish I could be there to help. I can't even study or be with Mike at the car show today. :( But, with the little energy that I do have I decided to look around on the net for help. I've been thinking about opening my own online business. I was thinking about selling rabbit supplies for the time being. I know that I need to get some licenses but I really need to design a site and get it hosted at least for the time being. I really need help with a name for the store. I wanted my physical store to be called Canela's Pampered Pet Boutique but it doesn't seem to make sense for the time being. Since my online store will be mostly for rabbits I was thinking Canela and Nibbler but I don't know how I feel about that. 2 comments|post comment
