| About: | This community has been set up as a point of reference for fanartists and writers, with members contributing their own reference material (photographs, drawings, scans, links to other useful sites). At present, the focus is Harry Potter fandom-related material, but if the community takes off, expansion to include other fandoms is likely. Pretty much anything is welcome that you think would be useful for fandom, as are requests. This can include (but is in no way limited to) landscape (including cityscapes), buildings, interiors, furniture, plants, animals, people, fabric, weird contraptions found in the back of the kitchen drawer/shed/garage... basically, anything you think could be a useful visual reference or starting point. The possibilities are endless! Posting Guidelines: Archiving will be organised by tags, so when you post, please use one of these: anatomy animals ephemera buildings cityscape garments interiors landscape plants links All images under a cut, as this is going to be an image-heavy community. If you don't know about cuts, they are explained here. Wherever possible, include detail! It's interesting and helps the viewer get a handle on the material. Credit your sources. This goes double for pictures of people, make sure you have their permission to post. No porn (even for anatomical purposes) or celebrities/Potter actors. There are other places to go for those. If possible, host your images at a site you know will be around for a while - this prevents linkrot. Have fun! | ||
