AboutThis is a community for virgins to come and share their experience. The idea is to have virgins uniting with other virgins to help each other cope with the day to day pressure to have sex, discuss topics related to virginity, and offer support.
Non-virgins are welcome to join and help give advice on the subject.
RULES:
1. Keep on-topic.
2. While we do discuss sexuality, let's not get graphic. Keep explicit detail to a minimum: Ideally, let's keep first time experiences to a dull roar since this is a virgins' community and there are plenty of LJ communities for the sharing of such experiences. Should you feel it's appropriate to share you first time experiences for the benefit of discussion, be aware that we don't need a play-by-play description of what happened.
3. Because it's tied heavily into religion and a person's personal beliefs, there are many different ideas about virginity and sexuality. Remember that your beliefs on this subject are your OWN, and please do not preach, moralize, condescend, or judge others according to your personal moral code.
4. Accordingly, please treat all members with RESPECT. Insults of any kind, degrading remarks, and attacks will NOT be tolerated. You are welcome to disagree with what someone else says, but please do so politely and courteously. On the same note, let's keep obscenities to a manageable level.
5. Posts that are friends-locked on this community are PRIVATE. Please do not copy and paste locked posts from this community. Anyone who copies-and-pastes locked posts will be banned. Please likewise refrain from linking and discussing locked posts outside of this community.
6. This is a community. The purpose is discourse and discussion. Thus, please make sure that all your posts have comments enabled. There is no point in making posts that others can't comment on. However, when a moderator freezes a thread, that means we think that discussion, so far as it relates to the community, is over, and it should not be continued.
8. Deleting other people's comments in reply to your posts is not allowed. If you delete any comments that reply to your post (not yours), the entire post shall be deleted.
This community has moderated membership, which means you have to be approved to join.
If you've been rejected for membership it could be because:
-You are a new LJ member with no entries/friends, or you only have communities on your list, and you have no email address the mod can contact you by. Journals of this nature tend to be trolls, and this is a DRAMA FREE community.
-You're a member of communities that exhibit questionable interest.
-It doesn't appear as if you update your journal
-You have caused drama in the past
