| About: | This is a community for posting and sharing vintage photos of all types, whether they are landscapes, family portraits, pin-up beauties, famous photographers of yesteryear, gems found in flea markets, etc. If its vintage, we want to see it. Guidelines and Rules: - Photos should be at least 30 years old. (No new images) - Please keep the images of manageable file and viewing size (Less than 100k, and the greatest dimension being no more than 750 pixels) - Please put multiple photos behind a cut tag. - Please refrain from posting sexually explicit, obscene, illegal, and/or pornographic images. If you are unsure if the image might fall under the above criteria, don’t post it. There is ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} vintage_sex and retro__sex for your posting pleasure.- Use common sense and your own discretion when displaying nude photos. If you are not absolutely sure photo is appropriate for public viewing - put it under cut. Ultimately maintainers will determine which images should go under "cut" and which can be displayed in full view. - If a photo is graphic and/or may be unsettling to others (i.e. crime photos, autopsy photos, blood, gore, etc), place it behind a cut tag and mark the tag clearly the photo as such. - No badgering, insulting, or threatening of other community members. -- This community spans over several continents, cultures, and ideas. Please respect others. - Please keep lengthy text behind a cut tag. - If reposting professional photographs, please credit the photographer if known. - This is a photo community not a forum for promoting personal social or political ideologies. - Please keep your personal grievance, problems and what not off of this community. Remember this community is call VintagePhoto not vintageproblems or vintagedrama or vintageadvice or vintagepityparty. - NO YouTube! (some very rare materials will be allowed under cut only) - to maintain high standard of this community, moderators will reserve right to remove materials that don’t measure up in it’s historic and social value, emotional depth and overall interest. just because image is 30+ years doesn’t automatically mean it can be posted here.
