I love how you cropped and tinted the first one from the original image. My second favorite is your second image. But the first one is perfect!

these photos besides being beautiful
very important social historic document
the obscurity makes them that much more interesting

Indeed they are. Obscure and eclectic images often garner less attention than "fast food" images. + If the poster has been "too" clearly defined in the past. That would include you and I, of course, and if we had posted under assumed names, the number of responses we would get would be doubled, at least. I have tried it out a couple of times, and it proved me right. Vintagephoto was at its height with you as moderator, and that is the truth, not flattery!
