These are all wonderfully absurd; a bit nightmarish, too. The last one is my favorite.

I loved these, absolutely! The absurd takes over the city, as in the wonderful carnival scene in Ariane Mnouchkine´s "Molière". They also have something of the earnest madness (hush, in case a Sienese is around; I never said that, in that case I meant to spell Earnest this way!) of the Palio figures from: Siena, where the horse race itself is but the excuse but a good one and stating the above facts further.
