This was totally the model of drug education that was popular when I was a young teen. The cover design was probably intended to show that they were "with it" and to that the information was hip and contemporary, despite the Joe Friday tone of the writing.

Any information on who published this?

Whoa, with a pamphelet cover like that, who needs drugs?

and I love all those names for tranquillizers, people just aren't that prolifically creative with renaming pharmaceuticals nowadays.

Years ago, I remember reading about how kids in Japan watched Pokemon on big screens and would get seizures from the bright colors and flashes. It scared me =(

See, kids, when you use crafty and groovy graphics, you don't NEED drugs.

I knew a kid who had a shirt like that. I could not look at it long without feeling car sick.

Anyone here recall those hippie velvet posters that looked like that? Turn on the black light and tune out freak out space out way out. My older cousin had a bunch of those posters.
