I'm gonna guess no.

I'm still trying to figure out why women can't just mix vinegar and water themselves.

At least they weren't pushing the Lysol for feminine daintiness issues.

Yeah. Although that "effectal" crap in the last one makes me wonder. Nothing bright blue can be "all natural."

Well, maybe blueberries. But you know what I mean.

Blueberries are awesome!

Blueberries > douching, for sure. But a lot of things > douching.

I was mystified that douche commercials were on youtube. There's apparently a whole bunch of Summer's Eve commercials, but they're not nearly as cheesy and comedic as Massengil.

I give my vote to the second one- I think talking about feminine freshness is appropriate when out sailing with your mother at the lake.

I remember that second one was lampooned in about two dozen movies and television shows. The mother/daughter sailboat conversation was SO far away from anyone's real life.
I'm a little horrified by the mysterious effectal but I love the harp strings as it goes into the bottle.

Seriously, I can't imagine casually asking my mother that, and then having her play with a lock of my hair like in the first ad. 0_0

I still don´t get it. Is it for yeast infection or are all women just so dirty down there?

For some, the odor of female genitalia should belie its natural hormoney-ness. The vagina has its own ph that would be altered by using vinegar, baking soda, or other products. This would then lead to bacterial infection...so, not a yeast infection treatment.

I think it's supposed to be the latter. Cunt smell = "not fresh."

The "not so fresh" tag is really code for "I just finished my period, and I feel grody." Women who douche will do so once at the end of their period. It's not a daily thing -- that's what bidets are for.

Unless they have an unusual medical reason, women who douche should stop. It's not good for your lady bits. Feeling grody? Have a bath. It really works.

Talk about your close mother/daughter relationships. Makes me wanna drag my mommy on a sailboat and ask her about ~down there~ cleanliness!

Or not.
