LEGGS used to make mens' slacks? I'm just used to seeing the "Leggs Eggs" at CVS all the time when I buy pantyhose.

I love tiger-print, but if a guy has a tiger-print carpet...well...I'd be impressed but not enough to let myself become his doormat.

That undertone of misogynistic violence makes me incredibly uncomfortable. No, I'm not up in arms about it, neither am I too sensitive - but wow.

You said it more eloquently than I could. I'm not incredibly articulate when slightly enraged.

glad it's not just me...
I'm always relieved when someone else puts something the way I wish I could. I get tired of just saying, "Okay, go read The Beauty Myth and that explains how I feel."

Exactly how I feel. I found this disturbing, if anything.

Same here. I, too, couldn't find the words to express how it made me feel, so I wrote it off with a furry comment (see above).

Ahaha sorry if that comment seemed totally random. I was reading Shakespeare and someone mentioned misogynistic and...well, Shakespeare's view of women is rather negative :p

So wait, men need fine, fashionable slacks to be worth a woman's attention? This is so misandrist. ;)
