I met Vincent D'Onofrio today! My friend Allie received a letter in the mail a few days ago telling her that they would be filming for CI in her neighborhood (we live in Staten Island.) So today we went by the house and caught Vincent right before he went on a lunch break. He was an absolute sweetheart :D As you can tell from my face, I was quite overjoyed to be near him. When we went to take the picture we kinda crowded around him and he was like 'laaadies laaadies' jokingly. Ah! I'm so happy. Oh, and he is even better looking in person ;)

They notified my friend because she lives in the neighborhood. Nobody outside of that part of SI recieved a letter

how do you get notified? only when they are gonna be shooting around near you, or is there a specific place you can go to sign up to find out where they are gonna be shooting? cause i live in ny and that would be awesome.

Only when they're going to be shooting nearby. They'll send you a notice in the mail
