:sniff: Everyone has gone home, to my delight and relief. We never thought we'd catch these kittens, and once we had them, we were all worried about how domesticated they could become. Thanks to everyone's time and work, they've all turned into Stretchy Slinkies of Love and have found wonderful homes. Snape and Ginny went to theantichick & runespinner, Alastor went to badcat42077 & dracphelan (and Bunyaboy), and Narcissa went home on Saturday with zyada & Bob the LJ-less. I can't thank everyone enough for the emotional support, the time you guys spent holding and gentling these once-feral little creatures, and for the financial support of the crate, food, and supplies. I couldn't have coped on my own, and without everyone taking turns holding and loving on them, they wouldn't have turned out the way they did. THANK YOU ALL. I won't deny I'm suffering empty nest syndrome. I haven't managed to take the crate down -- I have a kitten-shaped hole in my heart, and I'm not ready for a hole in my living room. But I'm more relieved and grateful for the happy ending we got with this litter than I can say. Here are three last pics of Narcissa, who was the last to leave and the one I'm going to miss the most. I didn't expect that, but after spending Thursday and Friday night cuddling with her, my heart melted. (What the hell was it that Bob said -- my heart is an open door, it's just a cat-sized door? hee!)
