These are so incredibly colourful and fun and shiny! I'm amazed by the sheer awesomeness of Can Delight and can't tear my eyes away from the mesmerising cheerleaders dancing across the screen while their arsekicking counterparts, well, kick arse. AWESOME.

You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed the panel. 50 minutes is so not enough time! I still need to compress and post the inlaid version of Can Delight as that seemed to be the most useful part.

You're welcome, thanks for attending even though much humor was being had in the room next door :) It was great talking to you at the con. I have comments on your premiere vid so I need to track down your post. I'm so behind!

I did not feel envious of the vidshow participants, because I was getting such good and useful information. (: I loved chatting with you, too, and wish there had been more time for it.

I'm way behind on feedback, myself. Too much drama, not enough squee. I'm hoping to reset the balance this week.

I'VE JUST WATCHED CAN DELIGHT 4304908902321124909356 TIMES. APPROXIMATELY. YOUR SKILLZ ARE ASTOUNDING, AND I LOVE IT THAT YOU USE THEM FOR THE POWERS OF GOOD (CUTE CHEERLEADERS BEING AWESOME AND DANCING IN MINISKIRTS). AND THE BEST PART WAS WHEN CORDELIA SHOWED UP AT THE END. THAT IS ALL.

I just watched Can Delight, and what a fun (and delightful!) vid - the cheerleading-as-kicking-ass was so much fun to watch. As a not-so-secret Buffy fan and a more-secret Bring It On fan, I particularly loved all of the Eliza Dushku parts. :)

Can Delight? Yes, it can delight me ONE ZILLION MILLION BAJILLION TIMES AS I WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER OMG.

Seriously, I had heard it hyped so hard in con reports that I was trying not to get too excited in case I was disappointed. But I don't think any amount of hyperbole could possibly have prepared me for the awesome that is that vid.

I still love the straight up attitude and glitz of Cherry Lips, and now that I've seen Can Delight, I'd just like to say: AMAZING. The work you put into that is insane, but even more I adore that you were inspired like that in the first place! I love your vidding brain--it's too shiny for me to properly express in words. ;}

(Adored Forever Fuzz in the comedy show too--it was so freakin' perfect for them.)

Coming back belatedly to say: OH MY GOD, I love 'Can Delight'. And I'm from a country with no particular history of cheerleading (New Zealand), so everything I know about it I learnt from American media!

I'm in awe of your editing skills, the choice of music is fantastic (I went out and downloaded the song, and it cheers me up whenever I listen to it), and I really like the counterpoint between the seemingly frivolous (but damned hard work) cheerleading and the serious asskicking.

The editing of both is fantastic, but the effects of Can Delight particularly blew my mind. Wow, from the amount of work it seemed to be to do just ~one~ single effect (from your panel), I can't imagine how long the entire vid took you! Extremely impressive.

Yes, it was a very long arduous process. The vid took a year of on and off editing. But at least after all the work I was happy with the outcome. Would've been all sorts of sadness if I'd hated it in the end :)

Here through [info]bradcpu who said "you need to watch Can Delight !". I just did and wow, it's awbsolutely awesome. I wish I could have danced to it at CVV !!! it's so great with the cheerleader all kicking ass, everything so well mixed together and the editing just is fabulous. I can't imagine how much time it took but wow, the result is fabulous, it moves all over the place and is just utterly awesome. Thank you for making this ! it's all cheery and awesome ! :D

the timing/editing is awesome throughout with the dancing and everything is so in sync with the music, but some timestamps of my favourite moments :
0:19 Way to get into the vid !
0:34-0:40 I loved what you did on this more "silent" part, especially the claire section
1:03 the hands together with the stars
1:16-1:18 the perfectly timed dancing ending with the bubble or something effect on beat, awesome !
1:52 Faith fighting mirrored by eliza's character dancing, ahahah with a zoom out perfectly timed. woo !
2:57 Buffy shaking it in rythmn, just because it's all fun
3:27 glass breaking on beat with effect thingy transition awesomeness

Wow, a detail of fave moments, how cool! It's interesting to see what stands out to different people. My favorite part is at 0:47, with the circle graphics and hands up in the air. I think you picked up on a lot of the core ingredients that were often used in making the vid. Thanks!
