Vidding documentary is now online!
MIT has posted the documentary that Francesca Coppa and I made, and it's up here for your viewing pleasure.

These segments, all about three minutes in length, were created for MIT's New Media Literacies program. The intended audience is middle school and high school students, so they're meant to be short and sweet.

They're not posted in any particular order, but IMO the optimal viewing experience is to watch them as follows:

This so cool. And it's funny to see LJ or fandom names I recognize in the credits, and trying to imagine who they fit from the video faces. Though I mostly have no idea.

I started watching them in the order right-to-left on the link, which now that I'm looking here appears to be backward. :D But I'm only halfway done so far. It's already made me want to go find one of the vids sampled (We Built This City) and go watch it...

You could do far worse than checking out Another Sunday (We Built This City) -- it's a load of fun.

You're not the only one asking for a cheat sheet to match names to faces, but I'm afraid I am not authorized to provide that. You'll have to guess!
