Dragonmeet 2007 Report
We had a fab time at Dragonmeet, as always!
Without doubt the friendliest gaming convention around.
Our big news was that we sold out of the Victoriana Corebook!
We also had some detail on the Starblazer RPG for which Chris ran demo games,
oh, and there was something about a Dr Who RPG licence as well... :-)

Here's us in the trade hall, Exile to the left of us, Postmorten to the right

My camera was on the wrong setting again, but luckily [info]karohemd took several photos of the day. His are the ones that arn't a bit blurry! You can see more under the cut

For some reason the protest started early.
I have no idea what these guys were up to, but I suspect Andrew Kenrick was involved! :-)

We were surrounded by fabulous people again,
the mighty Grim of Postmortem to the right of us
(how does he always manage to look cool in photos? It just isn't fair.)...

...and our neighbours for Gen-Con Indy - Exile games to the left.
It was great to see Jeff and Melissa make it all the way from Seattle.
We'd missed them loads!

It was also good to see Pelgrane press again with the marvellous Sasha and Simon.
They don't sell children as the photo might suggest, but they do sell 'Trail of Cthulu'.
Congratualations to anyone who managed to get hold of a copy before the sell out whirlwind that greeted the book's arrival! Next year these guys will have to bring some knitting so they have something to do in the afternoon! :-)

Mouse was more useful this time, valiantly manning the stand while we all went for a break.

But as soon as we were back he was hanging out with girls...

...and checking out some Hentacle action at Postmortem.

Luckily Valerie and Florent, the writers of the stunning 'Qin' RPG were over from France to bring Mouse back under control again.

Our big news of the con was the announcement of the Dr Who RPG licence.
(it is so good to finally be able to talk about it!)
The team ran a seminar to talk about the project

As you can see (from left to right), Chris our marketting Guru has mastered a look only previously available to the Russian Mafya. Dom seems to be hoping we don't make too many promises about early release dates. Fred, the genius behind 'Spirit of the Century' smiles with the grin of a man who knows his layout for the game is already stunning. Finally, Dave Chapman manages to look too damn cool as head of this fantastic project.

As to Angus, well, with another sucessful Dragonmeet finished, the biggest licence of the year on the way and the proud owner of an early copy of Dark Heresy, he had a lot to smile about.

Finally though, a warning.
This is the sort of thing that happens when you have no sleep and exist for hours on a diet of Coca-Cola, Adrenaline and Crisps (Worcester Sause flavour too, thanks Melissa!). Donna manages to take my insanity in her stride, but I now understand the Mona Lisa like smile of our Victoriana lady.
