list all your stupid canada day happenings here.

i saw some guy lick some random girls face as she was walking home, but that wasnt the stupid thing, the stupid thing was that she liked it, and she had a definate swing in her hip for the rest of the walk.

no pee as of yet tho.

ooh i saw two total skankasaurus rex's walking around, one was ONLY wearing a very sheer canadian flag.
very umm, not appropriate.
infact, it was flat out gross. whatever happen to decency? like really? self worth? we dont want to see yer nuggets, so keep them away...the weirdest thing is, we were pretty sure tehy werent canadian.
at least i hope they werent.

i work in a hotel and we had some girl (must have been 14) puking all over an underground level (where the parking turns into a hallway to get back up to the lobby).

Didn't actually go out and do anything.

But while out for a walk just now I happened past Glengary Hospital, only too see a couple clowns, decked out in maple leafs, vandalize a shopping cart and god knows what else.

I saw two underage highschool girls make out on the bus!

Going downtown on the bus I saw a group of teen girls get on in the uplands, all really hyper and drunk. I think they were in grade 11. Coming home on the bus three of the same girls got on, two were sober and grumpy and one was HAMMERED. The hammered one then proceeded to introduce herself to a guy on the bus, hug him and begin making out in the course of five minutes. Incredible!

Someone was lying on the ground across the street from my building when I went out. She started saying "Help me...help me" so I called 911. Only when the cops and the ambulance got there, she was gone, and I felt stupid for having called them.

We had a bunch of drunken teenagers get on the 14 we were taking downtown. One girl seemed to be in the throes of alcohol poisoning -- she was having a hard time holding her head up, not to mention staying conscious -- and was white as a sheet. We tried to convince her friends that she was past the `just sleep it off' stage, but they wouldn't have any of it. I sincerely hope she doesn't choke on her own vomit tonight.

The spontaneous rendition of O Canada as we were heading down Fort St was nice, but I think it freaked out the bus driver, because when we landed at Douglas St there were police officers waiting for us. They tried to search everyone carrying a bag for alcohol as we got off the bus. Tonight was the first time I've been in downtown Victoria for Canada Day -- are the police always wound so tight with the searches and all that?

It seemed to start last year, when they introduced the on-bus bag searches.

A guy stumbled into my restaurant at 10:40 or so and ordered a hamburger to go and a bag of ice for his broken nose. He had blood all over his hands, and he tried to hand me a blood-stained ten dollar bill.

Also, someone puked in our parking lot, right by the staff smoking area.

Number 6 (royal oak) had a bunch of teens obnoxiously singing Oh Canada a couple of times, and the bus driver flipped out on them when they were all getting on the bus, as they were pushing little kids out of the way to get on.

........This is why I didn't go downtown last night.

I did, however, go to Esquimalt Lagoon to watch the fireworks, and saw two teenage girls beating the shit out of each other.

Unofortanaly. I always get as worse as they come, but I was pretty tame this year.

I got drunk pretty damn quickly (I know it was before 7)

I was trying to lift up random hot girls mini skirts.

I played overly fake nice to a person I don't even like.. apprently I just ended up being a jack ass to him right after my fake hug.

There was some guy wearing ONLY a robe who served me at Hugo's. Nice.

I worked the Government and Yates Starbucks last night.

For nine hours.

Total goddamn chaos. No one needs a hot chocolate and a pee that bad. We had the cops called because people were literally trying to break into the washroom. Classy.

The best part was riding the bus home at 12:30; the bus was rank with the odor of stale beer and cheap weed. For most of the bus ride a pair of girls straddled the aisle on top the seats in matching red-and-white cheerleader skirts, and the guys took turns lifting their skirts up. It didn't seem to dawn on them that standing normally would decrease their instances of ass-grabbery. Finally a fight broke out when two of the guys went for the same ass at the same time.

Its almost enough to make you miss the usual coterie of crazy raving drunks; at least they don't reek of Gap cologne.

yea, nothing makes you realize quite so much how the world is full of morons as getting off work, being completely sober, and having to wait on government street from 10--11pm for my ride to show up. made me want to never leave the house again. or at least never go out on canada day again, as this was my first time and traumatized me enough.

i saw a guy get sucker punched and knocked out on the steps of eaton's centre...he fell like a dead weight which was scary. jumped right back up and started staggering around bleeding. the guy who punched him took off, but two cops on bikes were right there, so i hope they got him and helped out the guy who got punched.

On the Esquimalt side, the worst I saw was a drunk guy randomly quizzing strangers on early confederation history, and heckling the jerks who were driving on the closed road in the middle of the crowd. He was actually pretty cool.

My guy friend parked way over in esquimalt so we had to walk over the johnson street bridge. some guy came up to us (he was really young) and started congratulating us on how we were totally supporting canada in our red and white and our tattoos. The funny thing is he was wearing all blue. Then he proceeded to tell us that we should start dating because we "go well together". But, I really happen to like this friend, so I was ok with that.

Did anyone else see those guys playing hockey with a crushed beer can? They had nets and everything! I was walking by when the cops made them stop too. Everybody was booing, it was hilarious.

I also found it really funny how no matter how hard the cops worked to keep people from drinking down there, I saw tons of people drinking and 90% of people down there seemed to be drunk.

i saw two girls making out downtown, and then finally stop and were like "okay i'll call you tomorrow" and then walked seperate ways.

and then a girl i was with saw some guy pull out a knife and point it at another guy who wasn't looking. she wanted to warn him, but didn't know how. i don't know if anything happened though. she was sober and freaked out, so i think she left.

We didnt even attempt downtown.. Im heavily pregnant and our three year old would have been too scared of all the dumbasses.
we went to esquimalt lagoon with a bunch of friends and their kids.. it was great we could let the kids run around and have fun (downtown we would have had to hold onto them constantly) and we got to sit back and enjoy the night with a fire and roasting marshmallows.
Much better we saw the fireworks but didnt waste the gas, didnt walk 15 million miles and were much safer for our kids.

-The guy in the green shirt at the barge party who was high at around 5:30pm. He was hugging everyone, posing for pictures, jumping into other people's pictures, and crazy-dancing.
-A bunch of people dressed only in canadian flags... You know, it's against some law in the States to use a flag as a person-covering. Now I understand why, and think we should have the same thing! Or make our flags out of thicker cloth!

That's pretty much it. I went to the barge party at the Folk Fest, then went to the Vista18 where I work, and watched the fireworks. It was amazing from so far up. Then I walked home, cause I was working at 6 this morning : /

my friend saw a guy bail on his skateboard in front of the liquor store on douglas with a mickey in his hand and the bottle shattered and his hand and arm started bleeding pretty badly, he then proceeded to go back into the liquor store and stand there at the counter asking for another one while bleeding all over the place.
