It's hard to decide opon a membership request if we can't find out anything about you. :) If you have been turned down for membership and wish to have your membership decision repealed, please contact the moderators at: vj_mods. All persons granted membership are encouraged to be cognizant of the only community rule noted below. If you start trouble, you will be immediately banned. The mods have a VERY low tolerance level for drama.

All we ask while you are a member here, is that you exercise a bit of courtesy and please refrain from personal attacks toward other community members. Please feel free to engage in discussion, but refrain from bashing on and arguing with other community members. All efforts will be made to keep juvenile testosterone matches out of the community.
If you are going to post, please do not delete posts and comments. This disrupts the flow of reading and creates confusion and frustration for some members who like reading the community.

It's a fact of life that people are going to have different (and often conflicting) views on a particular topic. Each side is going to believe they're right and the other is wrong. Each side is going to want to win the argument. Mature, responsible, and intelligent people can recognize two things: (1) It's OKAY to lose, and admitting defeat (when you have truly been defeated) is the fair thing to do. (2) If you just open your mind a little more, perhaps you'll find that neither side actually has to lose. Maybe there's a win-win scenario in there somewhere; one that would involve both sides giving in a little in order to find. After all, we all do have one thing in common: we all want to find a better way to enjoy the community!!
