Update: Our new host is suffering from DNS attacks, so the issues with DNS propagation is bad timing. The board will remain offline until the new server fixes the DNS issues as that will be easier for us since everything but the DNS is ready. We understand if you are frustrated and want to see the board back online, but there's really nothing that can be done until DNS is fixed.
We'll keep you posted on any further news and updates related to the server move and/or DNS issues. Thanks for understanding!

VegOpt is now offline for the server move. Please do not resume posting there, even if the board appears to be back up, until an official announcement is made. Thanks!

Today (February 24) I will be moving Vegetarian Option to a new host, resulting in downtime until the move is complete. The downtime will start roughly around 6-7pm EST and will hopefully last for only a few hours, depending on how long domain name propagation takes. I know that VegOpt was down today for a long time so more downtime is the last thing that anyone wants, but moving to a new host will hopefully rid VegOpt of downtime issues for once and for all!
During the move, I will be using LiveJournal and Twitter to keep the community updated about what's going on, so please join the LJ community and/or follow the Twitter account to be updated on all things VegOpt!

Holdfire has suspended the VegOpt hosting account. There has yet to be any news as to why this suspension occurred, and I am looking into other hosting options because this suspension issue is getting ridiculous.
I'll keep you all posted. Also, please follow our Twitter account for VegOpt updates. Twitter and LJ are our ways of contacting the VegOpt members when the board is down.
