Aboutthis community was created for queers in vancouver and the surrounding area, but is of course open to queer-friendly people and people who do not live in the vancouver area.
i hope this community can be used for posting announcements and events, asking questions about vancouver queer stuff, meeting new people, discussing local/queer issues, and even casual banter, if you please. still, try to keep non-queer non-vancouver off-topic posting to a minimum.
new to the area and looking for a place to meet new friends and feel comfortable? welcome welcome.
there isn't a set of rules per se, except for the (i hope) obvious one: leave your hate at the door! no racism, no sexism, no transphobia, no biphobia, basically no bad stuff.
oh, and please feel free to introduce yourself when you join!
