Get your mojo on, get your actvism on, or just send a letter.  Though sigals and appropriate work is good too.  I'm just trying to spread the word because that park is a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy forest beauty.  If it gets turned into housing, it won't.
This Sunday December 9th there is a rally at noon to protest the development of portions of Pacific Spirit park.
I know, I'm studying and stressed too (exam time).  Still, write a letter, an e-mail, fax, anything if you can't show up.
Tell your friends, your neighbours, if you're charasmatic - the people on the bus.  Tell them to write in too.

This community is quiet because we're all at play over at Irreality playing.

We have a thread going about a meetup for March 24/25th, so get over there and get some input in.

The next meetup will be at a nice little bookstore/cafe, Sacred Space, just across the street from Tinseltown, at Stadium Skytrain Station. There's no agenda for the meeting - introduce yourself and we can talk about what we're doing and want to do, and have a coffee together. Then next month do it again, and perhaps be more focused.

The first couple were successful, lots of conversation and information exchange around topics both personal and Pagan and a little heated debate, which didn't get too heated).

Also - does anyone remember Agatha's in New West? I think before she had a shop in New West as a last stand, she had a branch on Broadway downtown. Agatha's Occult Emporium?

Where the heck do you all get your crazy supplies these days? Can't all just be mail order from the web, can it? :(

We need a coffee shop occultstore around Vancouver.
I'm pretty sure there is community lurking out there.

I'm convinced that the art [?] piece with the giant glowing crystal-like points just before second beach off of the seawall is either a time machine, magical device, or both.

I have a plan to leave a nice sign [letter?] attached to it with zip-ties so that the creators of such a thing can reveal to me the ultimate secrets of it's operation.

I'm hoping I can make this a mission and document it in pictures sometime soon. [faoo, are you listening? !]

- Iona Beach [Even though I've never been; Richmond]
- Golden Ears Provincial Park [Maple Ridge]
- Under the bridge on 124th Ave. [Maple Ridge]

Well, here we are - a few members shy of twenty, not all of which are necessarily occultists or in Vancouver, but we HAVE YOUR INTEREST, and that's a pretty good start.
