SeamRippers Craft Collective
SeamRippers Craft Collective is a new Vancouver-based collective focusing on contemporary craft.

We have recently opened a community space serving as a studio facility for an array of craft media, a gallery for contemporary craft, and a hosting space for a variety of workshops and events.

Integrating elements of art, craft, fashion, pop culture and contemporary design, we are a new breed of craft. With this broadened definition in mind, we are focused on addressing the current lack of exhibition space and studio resource available in Vancouver.

We are committed to breaking down the barriers of traditionally exclusive practices to create an inclusive community environment for working and learning.

To find out about membership options, upcoming events, workshops, knitting nights etc. contact us at: seam_ripper@excite.com or call 604.812.1674.

436 w. pender (downstairs, not wheelchair accessible)

The SeamRippers studio is a community oriented space intended to allow access to as many people as possible. Due to space limitations this means that private studio space will not be offered.

Different levels of membership will allow varying degrees of access to the studio and other resources provided by the space.
