As the subject says, I offer you the first installment of my 6-page Vampirates doujinshi. ^^ Almost a year ago, the spark of inspiration for this plot hit me when I had Vampirates on the brain and tried to take a nap. Obviously, this was before the truth about a certain character was revealed, which thoroughly Jossed my idea and caused me a great deal of distress. But I liked my story too much to change it to make it slightly more canon, so my doujinshi is officially gender switch AU. :3

Oh yes, and as those who read doujinshi know, they tend to be OOC and quite often everyone is gay. Jones, please forgive me for having fun with your boys. *sheepish grin*

H-HI GUYS :(

My computer is still in the shop for overheating issues (slow repair place is slooooow sdfsfd I KNOW WHAT'S WRONG, JUST FIX IT) so I'm kind of ... stuck in limbo atm.

But I'm sad about missing Valentine's Day. I usually don't celebrate it, but Hassan definitely would. Since all I've got here is a keyboard, I will write things for you instead. It's not the same, but I really need a comic-related-something to do! D: And this is more productive than spending all my time filling stuff at badbadbathhouse ahahaha...

So. Valentine Prompts! Any pairing (or no pairing, maybe they're having an I-hate-this-day party). As silly or as serious as you would like. &hearts I'll do my best to fill them over the weekend. If anyone else wants to join in, feel free, but I certainly don't expect you to. This is mostly to alleviate this weird case of comic-related cabin-fever I've got going on here.

Unless no one prompts anything. In which case ... spam post?

EDIT: You guys are awesome XD; THIS MAY TAKE ME A WHILE I am only one human. And I don't know if I can tackle these in anything resembling an "order", but I'll at least try to do the earlier ones first.

Updates are officially back on! I'm pretending the first two weeks of the new year never happened, so ... you know. Apparently that goes for the comic as well. :|b Time is flexible in my world. Anyhoo. Page 257 is up in its various places. Thanks for waiting it out, guys.

Ne, does anyone know what's happened to our favorite web-comic artist? Thankfully, at least this time there is no unfortunate "dead in a ditch" last post to fret over XD

Regarding commissions - I should be finished Roha's tomorrow night, but this time next week I'll be gone home for Christmas. I feel like I could *probably* take on another commission before then, but nothing ever really goes like I imagine, and I really would rather not leave anyone in the lurch over the two weeks I'll be away and not working.

So when I get back on the 30th, I'll shoot everybody in the queue a quick message just to make sure everyone's still interested, and we'll go from there. Sorry this is taking so long, guys. :(

Jones sent me my commission work today (*gloat gloat*), and it's absolutely gorgeous. If you're at all on the wall about getting a piece done, go on ahead and jump down on the "go for it!" side. You won't be disappointed!

I am between jobs at the moment, mostly because I seriously doubt any employer is going to hire me and then immediately let me go home for two weeks during the busy Christmas season. Just a hunch. This means I have a lot of drawing time available, and as such, am opening commissions for a while! Read on if this is something you might be interested in. :)

Okay...so...around...last Tuesday maybe, my friend introduced me to Vampirates and I literally did not move from my position on the couch for the three hours that it took me to read all of it. Soooo much in love.

That being said, I went though and read some of the theory posts and...yeah...::points to subject line:: So...I think I'm gonna go ahead and put the rest of what I think under a cut...cuz...well....there's a fair bit..

Dear Jones -

For starters, the comic is brilliant. Still, as that is always true, it's no real surprise there.

Secondly, I'm glad to see you're back and that things have smoothed out a bit in your life recently. Let us know if we can help and we will. Our favorite comic author will not starve or go homeless!

And finally, the ad parody just about killed me with happiness. I teach English in a Japanese middle school and my kids were going nuts over that single a few months back. (Seriously. I won bonus points with several girls just by mentioning them in one of my worksheets. It was kind of scary.) Anyway, it's an adorable song and an even better parody, so thank you!

I'm really glad American ads aren't that awesome, I actually contemplated buying one of those jackets during the like, 5 or so hours it took me to get a hold of the MP3 of that song....and then promptly came back to my senses |D

I've been gone for almost FOUR MONTHS and the comic hasn't been updated AT ALL WTF? Seriously did Jones die? Or did she have an attack of real world stuff? I'm just curious....I mean sheesh, I at least expected ONE page or something. Seriously someone let me know what's up, because that kinda worries me.
